What is Coachella?
Coachella’s official name is ‘The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’ as it comprises some of the world’s most famous artists and bands, as well as some pretty amazing art installations. It’s a three-day annual festival in California, Los Angeles, where people from all over the world gather to experience a modern version of Woodstock with an artistic twist.

Well, lucky for you, they just released this year’s line up and it has Beyonce, Eminem, and The Weeknd.

Passes
General Admission (GA) Ticket – allows entrance to the venue and day parking lots for all three days. GA Pass holders may visit the GA camping areas. “Any Line, Anytime” Shuttle pass is included, and all of that is for $504 (8,925.99EGP- 1,851 AED).

Where to stay?
Make Coachella fun with on-site camping. Build your own oasis in car and tent camping, or check into one of their fully-equipped premium camping options.
Check into Safari Tent On-site Lodging for two, which honestly looks fancier than your honeymoon hotel room -$8,500 (150,540 EGP- 31,220 AED). You can also rent a car here and car camp for $113 (2002 EGP- 415 AED) to get the true Woodstock experience, or you can bring your own tent and camp with the same amount– $113 (2,002 EGP- 415 AED).
Lake ElDorado (teepee) tents packages are your pick, if you want to be convenient. Get a tent plus the two GA tickets for $2,458 (43,532 EGP- 9,028 AED). Trust us when we say you’re going to need a locker so invest – $55.10 (976 EGP- 202 AED) for a 3-Day Locker Pass

You can stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Palm Desert, it is 12 miles away from Coachella. Three nights for 2 People starting $2,635 (46,667 EGP- 9,678 AED). Shuttles

Flights
A round-trip flight from Cairo to LA will cost you around $760, which is around 13,500 EGP, or 2,798 AED; and flights from Dubai and Beirut to LA will cost around the same. If you’re from Kuwait, then sad news, it’s going to cost you around…breath… $1,225 (21,700 EGP- 4501 AED).
As soon as you land in LA, you’d still have to take a ride to get to where the fun is. But, don’t you worry we’ve managed to sum up 3 different ways for you to get there.
You can simply call in an Uber, or maybe take it a bit over the top and call in an Uber Chopper and arrive in style. The average Uber cost from LAX to the Coachella is $160 (2880 EGP – 864 AED). Also, you can take a shuttle from the airport for $50 (900 EGP – 240 AED), or, and that’s the most fun option, you can carpool with people heading there. You can always find people heading to the Coachella by just keep an eye out for cars with “CARPOOLCHELLA” written all over it around the airport or in the city.
Not into that and you like to travel solo, you can simply rent a car from the airport and enjoy the 2 hours 20 minutes car ride with your carefully picked playlist.
What to wear?
Bring out anything you felt was too crazy to wear in your city because it will probably not be freaky enough for Coachella. Embrace your bohemian sassy side, and the more colorful you are, the more fit you will be in the festival!
