Dubai is set to redefine wellness tourism with the unveiling of Therme Dubai, the world’s tallest wellbeing resort. As part of the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033, this ambitious project will rise 100 meters above Zabeel Park and is scheduled to open in 2028, aiming to set a new global benchmark for wellness destinations.

What Makes Therme Dubai So Special?

Therme Dubai will span 500,000 square feet, making it one of the largest wellness resorts worldwide. With an investment of over AED 2 billion, the resort is expected to attract 1.7 million visitors annually. Its centerpiece will be the world’s largest indoor botanical garden, creating an oasis of greenery in the heart of Dubai.

    Unparalleled Amenities and Attractions

The resort will offer diverse attractions, blending relaxation, luxury, and play.

    • Thermal Pools & Therapeutic Zones: Natural therapeutic zones and thermal pools will offer guests an opportunity to relax and heal.
    • Michelin-Star Dining: A Michelin-star restaurant will provide a world-class culinary experience.
    • Towering Waterfalls: Three 18-meter waterfalls will enhance the tranquil environment and offer a jaw-dropping backdrop for your pictures.
    • Expansive Pools: Indoor and terrace pools covering 4,500 square meters will ensure year-round aquatic enjoyment.
    • Exhilarating Play Area: With 15 waterslides, the play zone will offer excitement for visitors of all ages.
    • Immersive Art Installations: Dynamic cultural exhibits will elevate the resort experience.

Therme Dubai’s Three Zones: Restore, Relax and Play

The resort’s wellness offerings will be divided into three zones: Restore, Relax, and Play, providing a balanced experience for guests. Who said playtime has to be draining? The Play Zone is where your kids can have their share of entertainment as you get your doze of health-focused activities.

The second area, the Relax Zone, will allow you to unwind in the best way possible, with pools, saunas, and natural treatments to encourage rest. Last but not least, the Restore Zone will make you feel as good as new, focusing on rejuvenation with mineral baths, steam rooms, and therapies designed to revitalize the body.

Blending Tradition with Modern Wellness Treatments

Therme Dubai will integrate ancient wellness rituals with cutting-edge treatments. Drawing inspiration from Roman and Turkish baths, Japanese hot springs, and Nordic saunas, the resort will offer guests the best of both worlds—timeless traditions alongside modern spa and wellness practices.

    Sustainability at Its Core

Therme Dubai will prioritize sustainability with water recycling, clean energy integration, and green engineering technologies. By recycling 90% of the water used in thermal pools and offering 80% of its cooling and fresh air needs through renewable energy, the resort will ensure minimal environmental impact.

In May 2024, Dubai marked a new chapter in its pursuit of enhancing the well-being of its community under His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's visionary leadership with the launch of the Quality of Life Strategy 2033.
