They always find an adorable way of stealing our hearts. Here we say, “Awwww” to one of the cutest couples in the world. These two have chemistry, they got style, they’re a perfect match and now they have the cutest baby ever: the royal baby prince. We can already imagine William and Kate singing Nursery Rhymes once the baby is born. How cute! This little man is third in line for the British throne, although he is not a day old but the royal baby is taking the social networks as well as the news by storm.

The new mother gave birth at the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London – where Diana, Princess of Wales gave birth to both of her sons. There is a strong police presence around the hospital and two police officers are guarding the entrance to the private wing.

Crowds outside the entrance increased as news that the Duchess of Cambridge has gone into labour was confirmed. A line of news correspondents from all around the world waited to report on the arrival of the royal heir outside the hospital. Some of the photographers have been stationed outside the hospital for two weeks in the scorching heat. Well 22/7 is said to be the hottest day in the UK since July 2006. Soon after the news about the royal baby boy birth was announced crowds gathered outside the hospital and sang: “Happy birthday dear royal baby,” in absence of a name. Later several hundred people were outside Buckingham Palace, where an ornate easel announced the birth.

On Monday 22th of July 2013 at 16:42 BST the royal baby arrived! Kate Middleton gave birth to a healthy baby boy according to Clarence House. Both mother and baby are doing well, and will be staying in St. Mary’s Hospital in London overnight. The royal baby boy weighed 8lb 6oz.

According to the BBC news, the arrival generated headlines and celebrations around the world, and prompted messages of goodwill to flood in:

-New Yorkers were informed of the news when it was tickered in lights at Times Square.

-In London, Trafalgar Square was lit blue for a boy, while the BT Tower delivered the message: “It’s a boy!”

-At its peak, there were more than 25,000 tweets per minute about the royal baby’s birth.

-US president Barack Obama said: “We wish them all the happiness and blessings parenthood brings” while Australian PM Kevin Rudd said Australians wished “the royal bub all the best”

-The Archbishop of Canterbury, Most Reverend Justin Welby, greeted the news by saying: “Along with millions here and around the world, I share in their joy at this special time”

-The village of Bucklebury in Berkshire – Catherine’s childhood home – was “intensely delighted at the birth”, said the BBC’s Ben Moore.

-A specially-filmed scene will be inserted into Tuesday’s edition of EastEnders to mark the occasion.

-At 14:00 BST, the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery will stage a 41-gun salute in Green Park, after riding past Buckingham Palace.

How the birth was announced? It’s a complicated process! First, the declaration of birth was printed and signed by staff at St. Mary’s Hospital. Then it was escorted by police to Buckingham Palace, hastily framed, and then displayed just behind the Palace gates, propped up on a wood-and-gold easel. The certificate bears the future king’s time of birth and weight. The name, however, will come later.

Prince Charles released his own happy statment on being a first time grandpa saying “I’m enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather” For his part, the proud papa prince William simply said, ” We could not be happier”

Although we don’t know what the child’s name will be, we can be sure that he will have a lot of them: Some heirs to the throne [have] had as many as seven or eight names. Prince Charles was named after a month of his birth yet prince William was named after only 7days hopefully we won’t wait more than that for the name of the royal baby.
