    The Right Way to Enjoy Ramadan Nights in Dubai

    This Ramadan, Dubai is hosting a number of activities focusing on the Islamic values of compassion, tolerance, sharing, and receiving and it’s taking place all over the city. Running till the end of the holy month, visitors will be able to experience a wide range of gastronomic activities, sports, and engaging events, highlighting the rich heritage of the Emirates.

    Below, you’ll find the line up of the upcoming events in Dubai this Ramadan.

    Ramadan Tents and Iftar

    You’ll have the chance to choose from the wide selection of delicious cuisines. Several leading hotels are going to be hosting Ramadan tents for those who’d prefer to break their fast or have their Suhor over there.

    To name a few, you’d be able to savor the flavors at Fairuz Ramadan, Fairmont The Palm, Al-Hadheerah Tent at Bal Al-Shams Desert Resort & Spa, The Meydan Hotel Ramadan Tent, Al-Falak Ballroom at Burj Al Arab, Asateer at Atlantis The Palm, Tawlet X Inked, and finally, the Dubai Opera Iftar.

    Sports

    NAS Sports Tournament

    At the NAS Sports Complex, starting from May 4th till the 17th, the sports tournament is returning for its 7th year this Ramadan and the competition is as fierce as ever! All the trained athletes will compete across a range of sporting events; like basketball, volleyball, running, as well as paddling. Not to mention, the spotlight will once again be shed on a wheelchair basketball tournament for People of Determination.

    Run the Track

    It’s going to take place at Dubai Autodrome on May 10th. Because Ramadan is the month where you should stay fit and healthy, the organizers of the popular Run the Track activity added a Ramadan edition just for you!

    It’s a community event where runners are encouraged to participate. Run the Track, which is an evening event, offers you the option to run from three to 10 kilometers, and when you finish your chosen distance, you’ll receive a medal for your efforts.

    Desert Road Runners Iftar Challenge

    The challenge is going to be at Mushrif Park on May 16th. Prepare yourself for a run, after Iftar, organized by Dubai’s oldest running group, the Desert Road Runners. The Iftar running challenge is going to feature a 5 km and a 2 km running distance, Junior runners, as well as Desert Road Runners club members, can join the run for free with advanced registration.

    NAS Night Challenge

    Free yourself on May 10th and 16th because you’ll be joining the course race at Nad Al-Sheba Sports complex for its fourth edition! this event is organized by Dubai Sports Council and is bound to attract thousands of participants from the UAE and the world. The challenge will see competitors both professional athletes and sports enthusiasts. You must take into consideration that athletes can compete as part of a team of four people on May 9th or on their own on May 16th.

    Mall Activations

    Visitors are going to have the chance to discover the soul and spirit of Ramadan with Dubai Mall’s ‘Art of Calligraphy’, which is going to be showcased on May 5th till the end of the Holy month. The calligraphy art installation will be on display in various languages featuring Quranic verses, underlying the importance and value of tolerance. The artists who took part in creating the featured display are Karim Jabbari, who uses ancient Kufi and Maghrebi scripts, while on the other hand, we have Art Noor offering the visitors a very humbling experience by presenting the ’99 names of Allah’ throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

    Shoppers can also take part in the charitable experience in partnership with Dubai Cares by supporting ‘Bookings 2030’ and visiting the immersive and interactive Profession Wish Wall. You can make all of your contributions online via the digital platform.

    Ibn Battuta Mall

    The mall is joining forces with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, starting from May 5th till June 6th, to share prayers through an interactive wall located in India Court. It’s a way to take the visitors on a virtual journey where they can experience the real life of refugees and their homes.

    Al-Seef

    Visitors of Al-Seef can look forward to the Ramadan Nights market that is going to take place over Suhor and Iftar timings throughout the whole month of Ramadan.

    Le Mer

    As we’re all blessed by the month of Ramadan, Le Mer is going to hang special decorations at the dining and shopping areas as a way of bringing the spirit of Ramadan to life.

    The Beach, opposite JBR

    The Beach is going to embrace the togetherness of Ramadan through a series of fun activities to encourage people to come together and stay active! From complimentary sunset yoga sessions, Eid and Ramadan arts, and crafts, to the beautiful gratitude wall that highlights what the community is grateful for.
