MedFest, an Egyptian three-day film festival, announced that it will be honoring the renowned star Sawsan Badr during its fifth edition. This recognition comes as a tribute to Badr’s exceptional artistic career, which has spanned various mediums including cinema, theatre, and television.
From Sept. 14th to 17th, the festival will celebrate the achievements of the star, highlighting her significant contributions to the entertainment industry and her ability to captivate audiences with her talent and versatility. Throughout the years, Badr has become an icon in the Egyptian film scene, earning admiration and respect from both her peers and fans. Egyptians always compare her with Pharos due to her Egyptian features, calling her the 21st-century Nefertiti.
