Most of the time we all struggle to spend enough time with our families due to never ending working hours or for some of us who go to universities then we spend just too much time juggling our lives between studying and trying not to miss out on lectures. However, summer is finally here and I think it’s the most suitable time to gather and have fun with our families.

There’s nothing better than spending quality time with your family and friends in a new place. Travel to a country you’ve never been to, try different cuisines, and discover different cultures. So, here’s a list of the places in our region where you can spend the best holiday in.

    Saudi Arabia

    Riyadh’s kingdom centre tower

It’s the perfect place to do shopping as this place has the largest malls in Saudi Arabia with a variety of brands. You can also have a tour around the city. Make sure to visit the Kingdom Centre Tower to enjoy lunch in the best quality restaurants. Another thing to do in Saudi Arabia is to visit the Empty Quarter and go on a safari and cruise around in your beach buggy, motorcycles, and 4x4s. You can also visit the nomadic tribes. This place is far from boring. Surround yourself with untouched nature while enjoying the sunrise and the sunset.

    Red Sea Scuba Diving

Many people think that Saudi Arabia is nothing but huge deserts, but the country actually has the most beautiful coastlines. You can enjoy the best snorkeling and scuba diving experiences in the world! Also, you won’t find it to becrowded at all since scuba diving is not widely popular among Saudis.

    UAE

Legoland Dubai is one of the best places in Gulf region to spend a family holiday in. It opened in 2016 and has its own educational and entertainment activities including rollercoasters, a boating school, a submarine adventure, and mini planes to fly. There’s also Legoland Water Park, which has 20 water slides, and a wave pool.

IMG worlds of adventure is a huge theme park in Dubai suitable for kids and adults. It’s the best place to get your adrenaline fix.

Al Ain Safari at Al Ain Zoo

This zoo has more than 250 different animal species. You and your family can take a road trip around the zoo with either small SUV vehicles or bigger trucks that can carry 26 people.

    Dubai Miracle Garden

And here comes the best place in Dubai, the Miracle Garden. It’s where buildings are literally made of flowers! It’s so enchanting, you will be mesmerized by the beautiful scenery with butterflies flying all over the place. You can’t miss this place if you’re visiting Dubai this summer!

    Egypt

Whenever you go around Egypt, you’ll see how amazing the culture is. Cairo, the capital city, is full of history. If you’re visiting soon, then you can’t miss visiting El Moez Street in Khan El-Khalili. It’s one of the oldest streets in Cairo.

There are plenty of other ancient and medieval monuments and museums. Cairo Tower on the other hand is the best place where you can take the perfect picture of you and the view of Cairo from above. You can also dine in tower’s revolving restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food with a view of the entire city.

Alexandria on the other hand is one of the oldest cities in Egypt. If you head there, then you must check out the Citadel of Qait Bay. It was built back in 1477.

But there is nothing to compare to the most miraculous cities in Egypt, Luxor and Aswan, with their countless number of ancient Egyptian monuments.
