#SwiftiesForPalestine Viral Trend Demands Taylor Swift To Break Her Silence Regarding Palestine

Fans of the American pop singer Taylor Swift’s “Swifties” are flooding X and TikTok with posts hashtagged #swiftiesforPalestine urging the singer to break her silence and use her millions of fans’ platform to voice solidarity with Palestine. Her posts about the elections, which ignored the situation in Palestine have disappointed many.

Taylor Swift deliberately ignoring the genocide happening in Palestine is probably the most egomaniacal thing a voice as loud as hers can do. While a lot would say she don't want to be “political” here is your favorite singer being “humane” and “political” when she wants to be. pic.twitter.com/obzTfh2kVO

This is after an ‘X’ user posted urging Swift to put on a statement calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, stop attending NFL games, and not to release the Eras Tour film to any country that hasn’t yet cut ties with Israel, like Disney.

Its more important than ever that we use our voices, no matter how big or small to advocate for the Palestinian cause. https://t.co/xCDaaztVsa #SwiftiesForPalestine #speakupnow @taylornation13@taylorswift13 pic.twitter.com/NTedb6UDYf

Interestingly enough, an X account run by the Israel foreign ministry has posted about a missing Israel soldier ‘Roni’ who they claim to be a huge swiftie, hoping that Swift would use her platform to help find her. A few years ago, Swift disappeared from social media for a few months, and according to a Taylor Swift Updates account, she was imprisoned for refusing to join IDF.

🧵Putting this message out into the universe with the hope that it reaches @taylorswift13.

Roni (19) Eshel who is a huge Swiftie has been missing since the October 7th Massacre.

It would mean the world to Roni's family if Taylor would use her platform to call for Roni's return. pic.twitter.com/GohjuwSZPk

However, Selena Gomez had made headlines earlier by deleting her Instagram account after a post where she expressed her distress at the ongoing horrors in the world.

“I am sorry if my words will never be enough for everyone or a hashtag, I just can’t stand by innocent people getting hurt. That’s what makes me sick. I wish I could change the world. But a post won’t.”
