The Metaverse is a novel concept that has the potential to transform our world and open up new avenues for human interaction. This is an idea that was introduced by Facebook, a massive digital company, and has been dubbed “the internet’s future” by some. In a word, the Metaverse is a computer-generated three-dimensional world where you may interact with other people and objects. It has no limits or bounds because it is a virtual universe. Nothing is off-limits, and anything is possible. You can, for example, attend a virtual concert, purchase a virtual gift for someone, or even go on a vacation with a relative on the opposite side of the world.
Therefore, companies are racing to join this world, with Fine Hygienic Holding becoming the first Middle Eastern company to do so with the debut of Fine Iconic Pack in Amman, Jordan. They aren’t, however, the only corporation in the Middle East following this path.
The Bee’ah Group of Sharjah will have its headquarters created in the Metaverse, a digital realm induced by Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). This could become a parallel ‘universe’ for companies to conduct business and communicate with one another in the near future. Furthermore, Bee’ah is a green energy company that intends its digital headquarters to be as near to the actual thing in the Metaverse.
Khaled Al Huraimel, CEO of Bee’ah, underlines that the company’s emphasis was to develop the office of the future, incorporating the greatest technologies for an experience that blends the best of the physical and virtual worlds. This is in line with the company’s vision for the future workplace and how it will be portrayed in the Metaverse.
Al Huraimel went on to say that the Bee’ah digital HQ will have a variety of access control systems in place, ranging from number plate identification to direct drivers to the appropriate smart parking spot and facial recognition at a virtual concierge. Employees can use a companion app to gain access to specified areas like control rooms. Smart contracts and blockchain technology will also be used to give the “next level of convenience” for employees’ access to various utilities.
It’s a race to the future, and firms are launching projects to get a piece of the Metaverse, which appears to be the direction of the tech industry these days!
