News which comes from horse racing shocked the followers of Samcro.  The reports mentioned that Samcro suffering from a lung infection, due to an unhealthy physique this horse‘s season is put on hold. But he has not actually been ruled out of the Cheltenham Festival yet.

Owner G Elliott scored previously a good lead by winning the Ballymore Novices’ in Cheltenham Festival. The treatment has begun and the Champion Hurdle is just two months away for Samcro.

Champion Hurdle is not over yet

Obviously, horse racing is a risky game. Most of the jockeys adopt a sensible approach to their horses. There are so many incidents are happening in horse racing. To tackle and monitor those accidents and injuries there are various medical faculties are available. Now shocking news comes from horse racing is that the great Samcro suffered from a serious lung infection. According to Samcro’s owner, he will be fine and may he will be a part of Champion Hurdle.  If you are a fan of Samcro then there are some possibilities.  However, the negative headlines are coming but hopefully; he will survive on the hurdles & updated race odds. At Punchestown, he ran well against his elders but fell in the race.  The decision was taken to retain him in the Champion Hurdle.  In addition to this, it has been far away from the smooth run in this campaign.  But Gigginstown House Stud was beaten by Bedrock at Down Royal.  This seven year s old beat only one home and all plans will work when he would start his checkup.  If we move to his fantastic career then we will find great achievements in this horse. In BetVictor Fighting Fifth Hurdle he successfully scored the second place by covering 2meters 98 yards. Leopardstown achievement of Samcro was also a memorable moment for his fans.  He was able to get first place in Deloitte Novice Hurdle.

    Previous accidents & risks

Samcro also faced many risks in various hurdles. It was a dramatic scene saw by the audience at Punchestown Champion Hurdle.  Unbeaten Samcro was the 5-6 favorite and running against the Willie Mullins-trained Melon. Jack Kennedy and Paul Townend were taking part in that championship. Samcro and Melon started the race and both of them fell suddenly independently at the same time on one obstacle. He jumped great at that time but his front legs slipped from one obstacle. After fell from Hurdle both of them keep going well & ran against a level. No doubt that this horse put lots of achievements in his career. He is just a brilliant and healthy horse.

Press Association Sport mentioned in their statement that he has got a deep lung infection. Stranger things are happening in horse racing.  Definitely, he will not run until he prepared himself for the run. For now, he is getting antibiotics for 10 days due to the deep infection. Here the question arises that he will run again & Certainly Cheltenham is doubtful. Samcro is a great horse and hopefully, we will definitely see him the upcoming championships.
