    Choosing where and what to study can be one of the most life-changing decisions you’ll ever take. The decision can immensely influence your life to the better or worse! So, every student needs to do enough research before considering any decision.

    Whether you’re searching for your bachelor’s or master’s degree, it’s always more rewarding to go out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself. The Middle East is one of the hottest regions to head to for your studies; there is always something happening in the region, making the student life there very interesting.

    American University of Beirut

    The American University of Beirut is one of the most prestigious universities in the Middle East, securing the top spot in the Arab region in the 2018 QS World University Rankings. It was founded back in 1866, and it’s a private, secular, and an independent university.

    King Abdulaziz University

    King Abdulaziz University is a public university in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Established initially in 1967 as a private university by a group of businessmen led by Muhammad Abu Bakr Bakhashab and including Writer Hamza Bogary.

     King Saud University

    King Saud University was founded in 1957 by the Founder of Saudi Arabia, King Saud bin Abdulaziz. It is a public university in Riyadh, and is the first one in the Kingdom. The university was first created to meet the shortage of skilled workers in Saudi Arabia.

    United Arab Emirates University

    The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is considered to be the oldest university in the whole country. UAEU was established after the independence from Britain by the President and Founding Father of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, in 1976.

    Qatar University

    Qatar University is located in the northern outskirts of the capital Doha, and it is the only government university in the country. It was founded in 1973, and in 2014, there were over 16,000 students learning in the academic institution.

    American University in Sharjah

    One of the top universities in the United Arab Emirates, the American University in Sharjah was founded in 1997 by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The university is one of the leading educational institutions in the Persian Gulf region.

    Egypt’s AUC was founded in 1919 and it just turned 100 years old this year! It is an independent, English language, private, research university located in the heart of New Cairo. The university offers American-style learning programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels, along with a continuing education program.

    University of Jordan

    Founded in 1962, the University of Jordan (UJ) is the largest and oldest institution of higher education in Jordan. The UJ offers a wide choice of academic programs for students who can choose from more than 250 Programs from 24 schools in various disciplines.

    Sultan Qaboos University

    Sultan Qaboos University is located at Al-Khoudh in the Muscat Governorate, and it’s the only public university in the Sultanate of Oman. It was founded back in 1986, and it’s the first in the Sultanate to award a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
