No feeling can ever compare to making someone else feel happy. Which is why it brings us so much joy to find out that Acts of Kindness exists.
Acts of Kindness is a non-profit organization that is founded by Egyptian singer May Abd El Aziz. The purpose of the group is to simply put a smile on people’s faces and make their day better. That’s literally it. Acts of Kindness have been spotted a few times roaming the streets of Cairo and giving out free chocolate, as well as small letters with cute messages, to people.
You might think a few pieces of chocolate and cute words on a paper may not do much, but that’s where you’re mistaken. You never know what most people are going through most of the time. A little bit of love and positivity can go a long way, all you have to do is just try it.
The inspiring band of Samaritans have also recently visited the Elferdos orphange and Gedo’s elderly just for the sole reason of having nice conversations with people. “The conversations we had with them touched us as much as it touched them,” a representative from Acts of Kindness told us. It’s quite crazy how these simple actions can affect people in such a strong way.
