Testimonies about Germany remain as beautiful as Germany itself. This may be your first migration from hometown, but don’t worry because Germany is full of so many stories. The language, culture, the weather, even the architectures, and a thousand other things.

If you want to experience the peak of Germany, you should visit the most popular cities: Frankfurt, Berlin, and Munich. Frankfurt, headquarter of commerce. Frankfurt has a perfect mix of commerce, culture, art, and serenity. It has beautiful neighborhoods where you can create your nests. Why not consider to rent an apartment in Frankfurt and experience all the city has to offer.

Berlin is the party city; it is very exciting and nightlife. Berlin is the place you want to go if you want to party hard or flirt a little with friends. It is also beautiful and has lots of arts and architecture. Munich is very similar to Berlin. It has the highest quality of life, friendly people and a great atmosphere.

It can be terrible settling in a place where you have little or no prior knowledge about, I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t want that to be your story right? Here’s the good news, in this article, I will tell you everything you need to know before moving to Frankfurt.

    Weather

Weather in Germany is very predictable. During summer, expect to see clear blue skies and warm temperatures, however, during winter, expect grey skies and a very cold climate. This means depending on the time of the year, you may want to watch what you wear and look out for festivals that would interest you.

    Learn German

My first contact with German threw me off the bridge, it sounded like a hard nut. However, it gets easier as you go. Learning German will not just make living easier but also allow you to get the best experience. You don’t want that guy whisper a compliment to ears and you don’t understand what he said, or that awkward moment when you want to greet a neighbor, but don’t know the right word to use. Learn German, I say.

The German language is also important for seeking jobs or dealing with the visa registration process. German is the start of the charm.

    Techno music is German’s fun

You may not be familiar with techno music, but if you are considering to move to German soon, groove with techno music always. It is the right atmosphere for German’s fun, every club always has techno music blaring in its speakers.

    Tradition is everything

Germany is not like your hometown. In Germany, greetings are usually quick and formal. It is usually done with a firm handshake. For instance, if you enter a room, it is customary to shake everyone in the room, even the younger ones. Also, you should ensure you use people’s titles to address them, this shows respect and courtesy. Don’t forget to always address people by their titles and surnames, until you are told to call them by the first name.

German food is more than you imagined

Frankfurt offers a lot of international foods due it’s a very touristic city, so I promise you won’t miss home that much. Whether you are a vegetarian or non-vegetarian, you will find what you want, always.

I can go on to write a lot of reasons, Frankfurt is the best place for you. However, ensure to take note of the few tips I mentioned before. I promise, once you get to Germany, you will fall in love with every bit of it. Happy moving.
