Egyptian former football player, Ahmed Hossam Mido, has been known for his outspoken and fearless personality. The former Zamalek player has recently turned into a football fan-favorite after shifting careers to become one of the biggest television presenters and football analyst in the Middle East.
Today, the footballer goes viral once again as he boldly addresses Egypt’s discrimination problems. During an interview on DMC Sports channel, Mido admitted that there is a race and religious discrimination issue facing young and rising football players. Ahmed Hossam added that he previously suggested a law that obligates each football team to be as inclusive as possible, with 10% Christian players on board.
