There is a man that lays quite low in the Egypt entertainment scene, but happens to be one of the biggest movers and shakers when it comes to the Country’s event scene. Known for throwing some of the biggest concerts the country has witnessed and making sure Heineken’s events are flawless, are only a fraction of what Garo Varjabedian does. We sat down with him to find out what’s to come, how he started, who’s the next star he’d like to bring to the country and so much more.

We know about Events Plus Egypt and how it’s a pioneer in the industry, can you give us a little brief on the company?
Serving the local and regional Market since 2007, corporate/consumer events, concerts/family shows, full fledge event management. We are successful because I invest in my employees and create an environment where there is no limit for creativity
What event or project are you most proud of?
Actually there are 3; Julio Iglesias at the pyramids, Nokia Express Music Festival and Stella’s 115th anniversary event
Any future plans you can reveal to us?
Working full fledged on a new brand for the Egyptian market as well as the second edition of Hocus Pocus magic family show end of April
We hear events plus is expanding, can you let us know more about it?
Well yes very soon I will be opening an office in the UAE
If you can bring one person to Egypt who would it be and why?
Madonna (Impossible ) Side note the women just to get on a plane to come to Egypt is above a Million Dollars
Celine Dion (The Vegas edition of her show!) as it’s an amazing show which is a sync between her great voice/talent and projection as well as super choreography and flashbacks.
I would like to do this in front of the pyramids of Giza to add a great spice to it and show the world that Egypt is safe and can host mass events with celebs.
