Macron’s visit began with a symbolic stop at the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is expected to officially open to the public in July. The museum, located near the Giza Pyramids, will house over 100,000 artifacts, including the full Tutankhamun collection. In a key development, Macron announced a forthcoming summit to be hosted by France with El-Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah II, according to AlArabiya News. Visit to El-Arish to Highlight Gaza Humanitarian Efforts
Macron is expected to travel on Tuesday, April 8, to the port city of El-Arish, located about 50 kilometers from the Rafah border crossing with Gaza. There, he will meet with Egyptian humanitarian and security personnel to assess the situation on the ground and reaffirm France’s support for international aid efforts.
