As I make my way through Downtown Cairo, pretending I’m Vanessa Carlton and singing along to “A Thousand Miles” in my Uber, I go to Eish and Malh for brunch. That’s where I bump into the darnedest thing: this ultimate cat lady postcard (look above). Luckily, it was for sale so I instantly bought it. That darnedest thing wasn’t the actual postcard, it was what was written on it.
There was an Instagram link that leads to a page called Cairo Cats, and in that moment, I swear I was infinite. The page is filled with feline photos that will make every cat lover’s iceberg of a heart melt. Here are some of these pawsome creatures:
