One of the most relatable struggles in our human existence is getting off the couch and getting your body moving. Working out is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea, as it requires discipline and a certain type of mindset.

Going to the gym alone is a hassle, especially because of the commute. We wanted to simplify the process for you by introducing some cool Arab apps that help you get your workout on from the comfort of your home:

    DubaiPT

Do you know how dating apps help match you with a suitable date? Dubai decided to create an app all about pairing you with the ultimate personal trainer.

    Via Dubai PT

It’s simple: Open the DubaiPT platform, select your location in Dubai, and select your type of workout, such as boxing, fitness, yoga, Zumba, or another type. Then, a collection of suitable trainers will pop up, and you’ll browse through the options until you find your ideal match.

The best part is that it can be online or in-person, including the training process, which means you never have to leave the comfort of your home.

    GymClass – Bahrain

Bahrain made working out extremely easy through GymClass, the Bahraini platform that, under one single membership, gives you access to hundreds of fitness classes and gyms in Bahrain and Kuwait. It is known as a multi-pass fitness application.

Abdulla Buhendi and Omar AlZayani are the brains behind GymClass. Both are seasoned entrepreneurs with extensive experience sealing deals and working in digital marketing.

    ArabFit

This is a professional Arabic-language fitness application designed to help you build muscle and lose weight. In one app, you can achieve any of your fitness goals, including losing weight, burning fat, shaping the body, building muscle, and increasing muscle mass.

This application contains more than 200 exercises presented in high-resolution 3D animations that show the correct and proper way to exercise. Each animation is also accompanied by voice guidance. Using the app, you can even create your own training program.

    ElCoach

Founded by Assem Emam, Saher Hassan, Muhammad Hazem, and Hossam Bery, ElCoach is a fitness app that creates personalized fitness programs based on individual needs.

It does this through innovative AI and expert coaches. Along with the fitness programs, the app also prepares meal plans by certified nutritionists and features local ingredients sourced from our region and culture.

The best part is that the entire app is in Arabic, and it is attuned to our culture. It recognizes the language, cuisine, and unique needs of individuals in MENA.

    FitLov

Starting its journey in Dubai back in 2019, FitLov came up with its first app, an app that has made physical fitness accessible and easy. This app gives you access to over 500 registered personal trainers across Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Sharjah. These trainers are there to help guide you on your fitness journey.

Along with gaining access to trainers, the app helps develop personalized training programs that suit your fitness goals, whether you’re burning fat, losing weight, or gaining muscle.

Each of these applications offers different ways to achieve your fitness goals from the comfort of your home. Now, you don’t have any excuse to delay the inevitable and dive into the world of fitness.
