    Here’s Why HRH Princess Haya Should Be Your Role Model

    Everyone’s favorite Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein just sent planes full of supplies to South Africa. In her aims to being committed to her humanitarian work, the Princess stressed the need for emergency support in Angola. The plane departed carrying 105 metric tonnes of equipment and supplies and the airlift was put together by Emirates Red Crescent and the UAE’s International Humanitarian City.

    Princess Haya posted on her Instagram page that saying “The aid will provide essential equipment and support to those who need it most.” The caption continued, “The emergency airlift is a symbol of the UAE’s commitment to international humanitarian assistance and represents the first phase of a Dhs 8 million medical and logistics relief program from the UAE to support the humanitarian situation in Angola.”

    Princess Haya has been known for her efforts to help humanitarian work, she called out to the world to help end world hunger. In January she announced that the launch of a new fund set to provide emergency food for people caught up in sudden disaster situations.

    “I am so proud of the fact that the UAE spends more on aid to develop other countries, compared to its wealth, than any other nation on earth,” Princess Haya wrote on Instagram last year.
