    In honor of celebrating the Saudi National day, here is our selected scoop of 10 Saudi women with different achievements who dedicated a lot of time and energy in different fields such as medical, governmental and fashion fields. So scroll down to read about the most influential and powerful Saudi women.

    Eman Joharjy

    The designer of what is called, “Sporty Abayas” created a huge wave after designing abayas with different styles. Each design is tailored for a certain activity like the “driving abaya” that has a hoodie, tight elbows to prevent the sleeves from catching on the steering wheels and shorter lengths to make the switching of pedals easier.     Princess Reema

    Princess Reema Bint Bandar Bin Sultan was sworn as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States of America, which makes the princess the first female envoy from the kingdom in history. Saudi women are making boss moves in all fields! Check out our full scoop here

    Nora Bint Abdullah Al Fayez

    Back in 2009, this boss lady was appointed as Saudi Arabia’s first female minister and she’s a US-educated former teacher, who was made the Deputy Education Minister in charge of a new department for female students. What a significant breakthrough.

    Lubna Suliman Olayan

    Olayan was listed as one of the top 100 most influential people of 2005 by Time magazine and continued to be on the Forbes list of most powerful women till 2011 and she made it back to the list in 2014. In 2004, Olayan was the first woman in Saudi history to deliver an opening keynote speech at a major conference in Saudi Arabia, at the Jeddah Economic Forum.

    Princess Ameerah Al Taweel

    Princess Ameerah Al- Taweel is a famous philanthropist and humanitarian. Focusing on empowering women’s rights and supporting humanitarian interests not only in Saudi Arabia but across the world, she’s also the Vice-Chairwoman and head of the executive committee of the “Alwaleed bin Talal” Foundation in Saudi Arabia.     Haifaa Al Mansour

    The first filmmaker in the kingdom had to be included on this list as besides her efforts to empower Arab women and help them through her movies, this extraordinary woman was also ranked at second place on the Forbes list of 100 most powerful Arab women. Check our scoop here

    Bayan Mahmoud Al Zahran

    6th of October in 2013 was a momentous day for activist women in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. That was the day that the Ministry of Justice appointed her as the first Female Attorney licensed to practice law. Al Zahran has also been listed as the 7th of the world’s 100 most powerful women according to Arabian Business. Check our take here

    Dr.Samar Alhomoud

    Moving on to the medical field, this Saudi Consultant Surgeon at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center was appointed by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) of the World Health Organization (WHO) as chair of its ethics committee. She’s considered to be the first member from the Middle East region to hold this position.

    Dr. Sumaya Al Nasser

    Dr. Sumaya Alnasser, the distinguished Saudi Life Coach, has been announced as the first Saudi ambassador for Peace without Borders. Dr. Sumaya is Saudi Arabia’s first internationally certified female life and career coach. She is recognized as a spiritual leader in her field and has over 15 years of experience.

    Reema Al Juffali

    To end this list strong and hot on the wheels, this 26-year-old Saudi woman became the first woman in the Kingdom to race in a championship, finishing second and third in the silver category of the TRD 86 Cup’s season-opener at the UAE’s Yas Marina Circuit.
