The main effect of the constant violence we witness daily on the news has on us is numbness. What started with tears, heartaches and angry rants against the world, ended up with detachment from reality to tolerate the horrific state the whole Middle East has reached.
A great man once said, “I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent”~ Mahatma Gandhi. Maybe it’s time everyone starts observing and listening.
