Faqra

Faqra is also home to some interesting ruins, including a temple and a 15-meter-high tower that offers nice views of the surroundings. The Faqra Kfardebian site, whose construction began in the ninth century BC, is located near this resort. The large Claudius Tower, which has some Greek inscriptions honoring the Roman emperor Tiberius Claudius, is also located on one side of the street.
Zaarour
Southeast of Baskinta is where you’ll find Zaarour, a private resort that is a little bit bigger than Qanat Bakish. It was recently constructed and is well-known for the quality of its snow. The resort has a four-kilometer snowboarding track and is great for intermediates, and families with young children. During the week, a snowboarding pass is 20 USD, while at the weekend, it is 40 USD. The cost of a taxi from Beirut to Zaarour is approximately 65,000 LBP. For accommodation, there is the lovely Grand Hotel Bois de Boulogne which is situated in a pine forest just a few meters from the Carrefour in Mrouj and about eight kilometers from the Zaarour ski slopes.
