From Smash Rooms to Skydiving: Wild Ways to De-Stress Across The Region

Feeling stressed, frustrated, or overwhelmed? Sometimes, you just need a healthy outlet to let your anger out and reset, and that is why we came up with this cool list of spots across the region where you can let off a lot of steam:

    Epic Shooters Club – Cairo

You know how in many films or TV shows, when the lead character feels stressed and under pressure to let off some steam, you’ll usually find them releasing all their anger by shooting some targets at a shooting club? This is especially true if they are a cop.

You, too, can let off steam in the very same way by hitting up Cairo’s Epic Shooters Club at AutoVroom Obour.

At the shooting club, you get to pick from three different weapons, either a pistol, epic rifle, or action rifle. Then, you’ll stand at your designated booth, face your target, aim, and shoot. It is that simple. Once you’re done, you get to take your target with you home and see how many times you hit the bull’s eye.

    The Smash Room – Dubai

Every now and then, we get so angry that we feel the urge and itch to smash everything around us. Now, we definitely would not recommend doing that in your home, as you’ll regret it afterward.

You can, though, release your rage at Dubai’s very own Smash Room. In this room, you get a hammer and get to smash, shatter and tear everything from TV screens and printers to washing machines and even guitars. Get your friends together and get smashing this weekend!

    Toboggan Rollercoaster – Taif

You probably have seen this adrenaline junkie ride all over TikTok, known as the toboggan; it is the sport of sliding down chutes at top speed. That kind of rush and speed can be the ultimate cure for releasing all those pent-up emotions. One of the cool spots you can hit up is Taif’s Toboggan rollercoaster.

Sitting at the Green Mountain resort is this special ride. You’ll zap through the mountainscape of Taif and admire the green cape as you travel down the slope. It is the rush we all need when life gets too tough.

    Xtrem Paintball – Beirut

For some people, shooting a target or zapping at top speed on a toboggan is not enough to release all that pent-up anger and frustration. Sometimes, you need to hit an actual moving target.

That is why we recommend Beirut’s Xtrem Paintball, where you and your friends can gather, put on your gear, and head out to the field to shoot down your opponents without ever getting shot.

There is a certain unexplainable rush that you’ll get once you hit your first target. Along with that, the entire concept of the cat and mouse chase will give you the adrenaline rush and release from the stressors in your life.

    Skydive Qatar

Turns out you don’t have to be an expert to soar through the skies. We are talking about skydiving. You don’t need to be an expert to do it because, in Qatar, there is an entire indoor skydiving center where you can fly your heart out.

Flying in the air is a liberating experience, and it might just be the ultimate cure for feeling extremely stressed and bogged down by life. At Skydive Qatar, beyond trying out the indoor experience, you can also take courses to develop skills and learn how to hit the actual skies later on.

These are just some of the ways to blow off some steam. The options are endless, and they all depend on personal preferences. Let us know which ones you’ve tried and which of your own techniques have worked!
