If you enjoy attending music concerts, rest certain that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be the go to this winter season for upcoming top-notch performances by international artists. The UAE, notably Dubai & Abu Dhabi, has invited foreign artists to the region before; previous concerts included performances by The Kooks, Coldplay, and Maroon 5. This year and the upcoming year, the UAE is set to bring in a mixture of international artists, each performing a different music genre.

    Post Malone

On Dec. 3, 2022, UAE National Day weekend, the well-known American rapper, singer, and songwriter Post Malone will perform at Etihad Park, Yas Island. The 27-year-old is the sixth most successful digital artist in history as he gained popularity through his distinctive fusion of hip-hop, pop, and R&B. We can expect that Malone will be performing songs from his most recent album, Twelve Carat Toothache. You can get tickets from Virgin Megastores who are selling tickets starting at AED 295.

    Imagine Dragons

The American pop-rock band Imagine Dragons will perform in Abu Dhabi at Yas Island’s Etihad Arena on Jan. 26, 2023. The Thunder hitmakers, who recently released their new album, Mercury: Acts 1 & 2, will also perform a show at Al Dana Amphitheatre in Zallaq, Bahrain before heading to Abu Dhabi. Tickets for Imagine Dragons’ Abu Dhabi performance are on sale, starting at AED 250, which you can get from either ticketmaster.ae or etihadarena.ae.

    John Legend

John Legend, a Grammy Award-winning Soul musician, will take the stage at Lourve Abu Dhabi on Nov. 12 to mark the venue’s fifth anniversary. The weekend-long celebrations will feature Legend as the headlining performance in addition to other local musical talents. Tickets cost AED 295 and can be purchased on Platinumlist. He is no stranger to the UAE where he previously performed two sold-out shows at the Dubai Jazz Festival in 2018 and at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena in 2020.

    Swedish House Mafia

On Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, the renowned group Swedish House Mafia will perform at the F1 Yasalam post-race festivities. The trio will be the main headline at the event where you can get your tickets from Yas Marina Circuit website. There, you can find tickets for general admission starting at AED 699, grandstand tickets beginning at AED 1,380, hospitality starting at AED 1,250, and experience packages starting at AED 4,410. Additionally, there will be lots of action and excitement during the Formula Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which runs from Thursday, Nov. 17 to Sunday, Nov. 20.

    OneRepublic

On Saturday, Nov. 1, the American pop group OneRepublic is set to perform in Dubai. The band, well-known for the hit songs Counting Stars and Love Runs Out, performed before in Dubai back in 2013 and again in 2020. The concert’s venue, along with the availability of tickets and ticket costs, has not yet been disclosed. What’s On claims that the event is probably going to be held at one of the city’s enormous stadiums, such as the Coca-Cola Arena or the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.

This is an intriguing roster because each musician is a major force in their particular genre. The fact that several of the artists on that list have performed in the UAE before has made them popular amongst Emiratis. What are you still waiting for?
