Just like the rest of the world, we had no idea about the infamous Etisalat campaign “Fawzi”. Come on, “7awelna ne3raf eih eli bey7sal” and we did. After a little snooping around, I got Fawzi himself to tell us here in an exclusive one-on-one interview about what is coming to all the Etisalat subscribers!!

    So here it is: –

    So Fawzi, who are you?

I am just a normal guy that appreciates how tough life can be. On the face of it, I help my friends save money and let them know where they can get the best deals on things they need for their everyday life. However, I like to think I do more than that. I want people to make the most out of life, to live it to the fullest. I hope this side of me will become clearer as we go through the episodes.

So what does that mean? Do you provide illegal services to people?

Hahah! No no, it’s not that. I am just able to get offers and deals from different brands and businesses that no one else can and give them to all the Etisalat subscribers, free of charge.

I have a Mobinil and a Vodafone line, how can I benefit from this service?

Etisalat made me and introduced me to the world. For that I am forever loyal to them. If you have a Mobinil and Vodafone line you will have to get an Etisalat line as well to benefit from what I have to offer. As long as your line is active you will be able to get the deals. Give me a call when you are ready, I will get you a good number.

Let’s say I got an Etisalat line, what happens then?

    • I already got you an Etisalat number… haha. After that just follow these steps:
    • Register with me either on www.Fawzi.com or by calling 424 (I will send you a secret password for you to use)
    • Check out our website for where our deals are or wait for me to send you an SMS with the latest deal
    • Go to any of our partners and you will see a small tablet
    • Right before you pay enter your phone number and the password I sent you (you can reset by calling 424 if you forget it)
    • Enjoy the deal!

So what are you providing, that popular deal site aren’t?

I like to think what I do is different than the group buying type of websites. For starters, I am not a website only, I go with you wherever you want me to through your phone. My deals aren’t one off things but they are around for a long time so that my subscribers can enjoy them whenever they need to.

Also, for the brands/businesses I partner with I offer them a much richer way to communicate to current and potential customers. You can use my website, targeted SMS campaigns, mobile apps (soon to come) and much, much more…

Wait, so if I own a business, can you target who I can reach?

I can do a lot of things for businesses. If you give me a deal it’s going to be for all my subscribers, but I can help you make the most of your communication strategy by focusing on certain characteristics you are looking for in potential customers. I also help you design a deal that means most to you and will help you realize your sales and profitability targets.

There are going to be a lot of new products we hope to introduce for businesses going forward so you should definitely stay tuned if you are a business.

So how do I become a partner? And how much do I have to pay?

Let me just start by saying that everything with me is free. Being a member is free and being a partner is also free, all you have to do is give me a good deal for me to give my members.

So how else can I benefit as a partner in Fawzi?

I try to give my partners as much as possible. Right now our focus is on giving you reach and improving awareness of your brand/business/product among your target market while helping you take advantage of all the tools that the 21st century has to offer (web, social, mobile)

As I grow I will be able to offer brands more and more things. Already a number of products are being designed in the pipeline and we hope to release them as soon as we can!

Cool, But I see that you have only for categories of partners, are you willing to include more?

Those were just our launch categories. Think about it more as the bare minimum, I expect to keep growing out that list of categories as time goes on.

You will have to keep checking the website to see what new deals and categories we have!

So what’s with the confusing TV ads and stuff?

Etisalat’s motto is that there is “More to Life!” I wanted to take that further and tell you to leave your house because there is a whole world out there that is waiting for you. The ads (especially the extended versions on www.fawzi.com) try to show you that. It doesn’t matter who you are, or what they tell you, the world is waiting for you!

It’s all part of a story that I broke down into 6 episodes which will air over the next 3 months. Keep watching to find out how it all started!

So who are the 4 characters in the episodes?

Haha! Keep coming to the website over the next few months and all will be revealed….

Great, do you want to tell me anything else about yourself?

I’ve still got a lot more to tell you, but not on the first interview. Give me another call in a week and I will give you some more info!

I will, however, leave you with this. We have a big deal about to be released that you should definitely stay tuned for…

Well there you have it people. I personally liked Fawzi, he’s a bit mysterious but I think we get along. That’s why he gave me the 2nd Episode!!! Check it out here EXCLUSIVELY before it is online and on TV to the public.
