Egypt is filled with locations both historic and intriguing in their design and location, including citadels, temples and abundant sand dunes. Though creating some controversy many of these historic and unique locations have hosted lavish parties, retreats and prominent events. Hatshepsut Temple

Located on the opposite side of the city of Luxor on Kings Valley Rd, Egypt’s Hatshepsut Temple is considered to be one of the greatest ancient Egyptian landmarks. The temple was built more than 3,500 years ago by the ancient Egyptians and is known as the ‘holiest of holy places.’ Built by Queen Hatshepsut, who aimed to elevate her image and immortalize her name. This Feb. 13, 2023 Swiss DJ duo Adriatique are set to perform a mystical show with incredible visuals accompanied by extravagant melodies in the heart of the temple.

For instance, the Siyaha Festival, also known as the Festival of Forgiveness, is regarded as Siwa’s most significant festival. During the Oct. full moon, villagers congregate on Mount Dakrur for Siyaha, also known as Asihaite in the regional Berber language, lasting three days. Another event is the non-traditional Siwan Art Project, which happens every two to three years. The festival features large-scale art projects such as the launch of thousands of kits, or, the “Ship of Siwa” which is always launched on one of the local lakes.
