Summer is always such a busy time, with so much travel and everyone on the go, all one wants to do after a long trip is find a hotel that can accommodate all their different needs. After a long journey from the Maldives to Dubai, I was ecstatic to finally arrive at the Anantara Dubai resort located on the enchanting Palm Jumeirah, boasting breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf. The hotel is nestled on the eastern crescent of Palm Jumeirah, a man-made island that is known for its picturesque surroundings and vibrant beach scene.

The resort’s luxurious and inviting ambiance instantly set the mood for a perfect getaway. From the impressive architecture to the friendly staff, everything about this resort screams luxurious indulgence and a little taste of Thailand in the Gulf. In my humble opinion, the Anantara Dubai is the perfect stay-cation or family destination, offering a little bit of something for everyone. If you are a family, honeymooner, or someone who just wants to beat the hustle and bustle of Dubai, the hotel is the perfect getaway. So let’s dive into all that you need to know about it.

With over 400 rooms and villas, there are plenty of options to choose from when it comes to accommodation. The rooms are elegantly designed with modern amenities such as high-speed internet, flat-screen TVs, and beds that feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud. The villas are perfect for families as they come with a private pool and offer easy access to the beach and other recreational facilities.

The resort boasts a wide array of elegantly designed rooms ranging from deluxe lagoon view rooms to over-the-water villas to luxurious suites. Each room, regardless of category, is well-equipped with modern facilities to ensure the utmost comfort.

It’s important to note that Anantara is the only hotel in Dubai to boast these over-the-water villas, that resemble a Maldivian resort.

For a delectable experience, the hotel has a lot to offer. The signature restaurant, Mekong, offers a fusion of Asian flavors, carefully crafted by master chefs. For a taste of Mediterranean cuisine, Crescendo is the place to be. The restaurant’s open kitchen provides a unique and interactive dining experience. The Beach House, on the other hand, provides an ideal setting for a relaxed beachside dining experience.

But that’s definitely not all as Anantara offers a number of recreational activities to keep guests entertained. The Anantara Spa is the perfect place to unwind and indulge in pampering treatments. Fitness enthusiasts can work out in the fully equipped gym or take part in yoga classes. Guests can also indulge in a range of water sports activities ranging from kayaking, paddleboarding to windsurfing.

Anantara Dubai’s impressive amenities cater to all kinds of travelers. It has a private white sand beach where one can soak up the sun and enjoy the sea breeze. The hotel also caters to a state-of-the-art 24-hour gymnasium that caters to all fitness needs, including yoga and pilates. The resort also offers a Kids’ Club, where children can indulge in different fun activities while parents relax – it’s a hassle-free way to spend a family day. Guests who are seeking a more relaxing experience can enjoy a tranquil massage at the resort’s Anantara Spa, where they can indulge in various massages and treatments while lounging in the relaxation rooms with a cup of tea. If you are a water sports lover, you will love the water sports center where you can indulge in varied activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling.

Overall, my stay at Anantara Dubai was an unforgettable experience. With its state-of-the-art facilities, stunningly designed restaurants and rooms, and friendly staff, the resort offers an exclusive and indulgent getaway that anyone would love. It’s the perfect staycation or family destination for anyone looking for a luxurious, yet affordable break from the chaos of the city.
