Public Speaking at The AUC
This course offers practical exercises and story-telling techniques to help you master the art of speaking to an audience. Practices that allow you to shift from fear and anxiety to a calmer, grounded presence will also be taught. Students will be introduced to the tools that make great public speakers, as well as how to structure a persuasive talk. The course begins July 30 – August 3, 2023 and costs EGP 3,200.

Tufting at Tuft Egypt
In this course, you can expect to learn about the different types of tufting tools and materials. You’ll also gain an understanding of the different techniques involved in rug tufting. The course will teach you how to transfer your design onto the backing fabric, how to use the tufting gun, and how to make different patterns and textures. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to create your own beautiful and unique rugs. The course is a two-day course that will be available all throughout July/August and costs EGP 1,700.

Embroidery at The Fashion Incubator
At the beginning of the course, you’ll learn about the different types of embroidery stitches, materials, and tools that are commonly used. You’ll practice different stitches and learn how to create various patterns and designs. As your skills progress, you’ll move on to more complex embroidery techniques. You’ll also learn how to choose the right fabrics and threads for your projects, as well as how to transfer designs onto fabric. The course will be available all throughout July/August.

Neapolitan Pizza at The Cooking School
A Neapolitan Pizza making course is an incredible opportunity to learn the art of making authentic Italian-style pizza. In this course, you can expect to learn about the ingredients and tools required to make the perfect pizza dough. You’ll learn how to knead the dough, shape it, and top it with the freshest and most delicious ingredients. It’s a one-day course on July 25th from 10 am -4 pm.

Voice Over for Beginners at Gravy For The Brain
This course provides aspiring voice-over artists with fundamental skills and techniques to develop their vocal range, projection, and articulation, as well as the ability to interpret scripts and deliver various tones and emotions. The course will be taught by a team of seasoned and professional voice-over artists, including Nadeem Khaled and other industry experts. The course is available all year round on GFTB with a monthly fee of EGP750.

Photography Basics at Darb 15
This course will be given by renowned photographer Ahmed Hayman and it will provide beginners with essential skills and knowledge to improve their photography techniques. Participants can learn about camera settings, lighting, composition, and other essential aspects of photography. Through hands-on learning experiences and practical exercises, they can develop their creativity and gain a better understanding of photography. The course will start July 27th, and will include a photography day at Al Azhar Park.

Music Production at Cocoon
This course will provide participants with essential skills and knowledge to create high-quality music and produce professional-quality recordings. Through hands-on learning experiences and practical exercises, participants will learn about songwriting, arrangement, sound design, mixing, and mastering. They will also learn how to use digital audio workstations and other production tools to create music in various genres. The course date and location are yet to be announced, follow Cocoon to stay tuned.
Filmmaking at Pro Step Film School
This course, instructed by director Mohamed Bakir, will provide you with the skills and knowledge to create compelling films, from pre-production to post-production. Here, you will learn about scriptwriting, cinematography, lighting, sound design, editing, and visual effects. You’ll also get introduced to professional-grade cameras, lighting equipment, and other production tools. Follow up with Pro Step Film School to know the exact start date in August. Installment plans are available for this course.

Sufi Whirling at Cairo Contemporary Dance Center
A Sufi course can be an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in exploring the spiritual and artistic dimensions of Sufi culture. It’ll provide participants with the chance to learn about the ritualistic and symbolic significance of Sufi whirling, a form of dance that is central to Sufi mysticism. You will develop a deeper connection with your body, mind, and soul and explore the inner world of Sufi spirituality. Sufi Night is a three-hour course held on July 21st from 5-8 pm. Kite Surfing at Soul Kite Surfing
The Soul kitesurfing school is committed to helping people of all levels and ages experience the thrill of Kite surfing. This course will allow you confidently navigate the wind and waves while kite surfing. You’ll learn all about kite surfing equipment, kite control, body position, and safety procedures. The experienced instructors at Soul will provide safe and easy instructions to help you get started. Kite surfing lessons are available all summer long starting from EGP2,500 for adults and EGP1,800 for kids.

Pastry Making at Monappetit Academy
This can be an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in learning the art and science of pastry making. You’ll learn about pastry-making techniques, such as mixing, rolling, and shaping dough, as well as baking and decorating pastries. You will also learn about the different types of flour and sugars, and how to create different flavors and textures. This is a five-day certified course starting July 23rd-27th. The cost of the course is EGP5,800.
