Makadi Heights is ending the year on a high note with one of the most exciting events in the region! The heavenly Red Sea destination is joining forces with Bosla to bring thrill seekers of Egypt the most adrenaline-fueled event of the year; the third edition of the Egypt Rally Championship.
Racers and Rally Enthusiasts are getting ready for the three-day adventure that will take place from the 12th till the 14th of December. The first day will be for registration for the Rally Race and the 4×4 Challenge taking place at Makadi Heights Mall.
The second day will arguably be the most entertaining day of the event. Spectators will witness the thrilling 4×4 Challenge and the first stage of the Rally Race live. And to add to the fun, a fantastic line-up of entertainment and surprises that start at 9 am will definitely spice things up!
The final day will see the second stage of the Rally Race take off; a 300 km off-road rally that will push the skills and perseverance of the drivers and their cars to their limits! The winning team will be announced later that evening at a grand ceremony at the Makadi Heights Mall.
Orascom Development’s Makadi Heights will provide the perfect setting for the action-packed weekend, with all the necessary infrastructure and means to host big sports events. 30 teams believe that they’re up for the challenge and will participate at the event with rally cars that are specially equipped for racing and off-roading. Bosla Egypt did a great job getting ready for this event, organizing it in cooperation with the Red Sea Governorate and the Egyptian Automobile and Touring Club and the support and sponsorship of the Ministries of Defense, Interior, Tourism and Environment.
Makadi Heights Rally 2019 is the first sports event to be held in the town. The organization of such an event comes in line with the strategy of the Red Sea governorate to promote Hurghada as the destination of international sports events.
