Have you ever taken a driving ticket? Of course you did. Did you deserve it? Of course you did not. Who would ever admit they’re a bad driver or they’re mistaken in this country? No one.

Well I am sorry to tell you that those days are over, you’re now doomed after the launching of Emokhalfa application. Now you can be reported if you break the rules but you also get to report those who drive poorly and get to your nerves every single day. Anyone driving in this country will definitely relate. Let’s know all about this from founder of Emokhalfa, Mohamed El Hagry.

    1) Talk to us more about the concept of Emokhalfa.

Emokhalfa aims at enhancing driving conduct and helping the community to safer roads by creating means of delivering community pressure to their fellow drivers. Our main objective is to provide means for fellow motorists to report all traffic related violations that they see during their day-to-day commuting. These reports will be used to put community pressure on drivers that don’t not follow a correct driving conducts . Moreover, with the help of driving safety organizations we will provide them with consolidated reports that will allow decision makers to take actions in solving a specific problem.

We have been working on the project for months now, the company was established, the applications were developed and we are in the launch phase.

    2) What triggered the idea of Emokhalfa?

During one of our brain storming sessions to come up with ideas to try to make a difference. The idea came; we worked on it and performed a set of market surveys. We discovered it’s very appealing for many people so we proceeded in the execution. Our main trigger was the suffering that we see every hour on our roads, from traffic congestions, bad driving skills, rudeness and accidents. We are all suffering from these problems roads are becoming unsafe for us and our families.

    3) How is Emokhalfa used?

Whenever you see a violation you can report it to us via our website(www.emokhalfa.com) , mobile applications or the call center. All you have to know is the license plate number and what happened. You can add pictures as well to your report. All of these data is consolidated to a single platform where user can search for any vehicle with its plate number. The service can be of benefit to many people for example:

1- Parents can know about their kids driving conduct and street manner by searching with their vehicle license plate number. And they can direct them to the correct behavior

2- Mums can check their kids school bus via its license plate and if the driver is not driving safely, they can call the school and force them to make the driver enhance his driving.

3- Employers who have drivers can check the behavior of their hired drivers from the system.

The use of the platform will enhance the road safety level, and will prevent accidents.

Moreover EMokhalfa will provide safety tips and demonstration supplied by expert to tell people what’s the correct conduct on the streets.

    4) What is emokhalfa trying to fix in our society?

EMokhalfa is trying to help in solving the bad driving conducts on the street, to spread awareness about the good conducts and how to reach them. To try to monitor the current streets situation and provide data to all the people who can use it to enhance our daily street interactions.

WE SAID THIS: You drive everyday and you suffer everyday, there is now a solution to everyone who wants to stop violations in the streets of Egypt and cares about their own safety. Be serious about this and let’s put an end to all this mess in our streets. Emokhalfa, let’s do this!
