Dreaming of traveling and exploring the world while still being able to earn money? You are not alone. Fortunately, there is a way to make this dream come true as lately, a huge number of people around the world started to have a more independent lifestyle; instead of choosing jobs that require their physical appearance at the office, they picked out virtual options to give them the flexibility to move from country to another while doing their jobs. Being a digital nomad does not necessarily mean working as a freelancer, you can actually work for someone or a company but, of course, remotely. There are a variety of jobs that you can do as a digital nomad, scroll down to find out more.

    Via Medium

    Social Media Specialist

All companies today need someone to manage their social media accounts on different platforms to reach more people. It’s a job that readily available and relatively attainable.

    Teacher

Everyone has something to teach, and as someone who already has wanderlust, you have a lot to tell! You can teach people from different cultures your language, or for example graphic design, entrepreneurship, etc.

    Online Gigs

You can work on Freelancing platforms such as Upwork or Freelancer, by providing any professional skill you have, it can vary between translation, designing, photo editing, copywriting, or literally anything you find yourself good at.

But, is this really a lifestyle you want?

Just like anything in life, this lifestyle has its own positive and negative aspects that differ from one person to another.

    Positives

You can travel the world while working! traveling is no longer part of a vacation. you choose your own space to work in. Also, if you are a freelancer, you manage the time that fits your day and the type of work you can provide.

    Negatives

It is not as easy as it seems. you should have a strong background in traveling, marketing, freelancing, and living on your own in foreign countries as well as monitoring your expenses. You have to keep in mind that at some point in peoples’ lives, they need stability and search for it. They no longer want to travel the world but would rather live a quiet life with their loved ones.

So, you have to ask yourself, to what extent is this lifestyle sustainable for you and your personality? Are you willing to spend your entire life traveling? This is an important question that you have to genuinely ask yourself.
