Hollywood stars hit the red carpet at the 2023 Academy Museum Gala held in Los Angeles. Many of them stunned us in Arab-designed dresses, names like Georges Hobeika, Elie Saab, Tony Ward, Hedi Slimane, and Zuhair Murad shone bright as usual.
The rapper Awkwafina showed off an elegant look from Hobeika’s Fall/Winter 2022 couture line. A full tulle skirt, and a jacket detailed with gemstones.
While the cookbook author and model, Chrissy Teigen donned a cream-colored gown by renowned Lebanese designer, Tony Ward. The Oscar-nominated actress Taraji Henson went for a Zuhair Murad look, wearing a purple dress from his ready-to-wear 2023 Winter line.
In addition to Murad, and Ward, Elie Saab was indeed present in the scene, embodied in Danai Gurira’s ice-blue look.
Final on the list is Kaia Gerber, daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, dressed by Hedi Slimane who is the owner of Celine, hers was a custom-made gown.
