The festive season is finally here and Cairo’s Christmas events are in full swing! From bazaars and holiday markets to musical performances and more, there really is no shortage of things to do in the few weeks leading up to Christmas.
While listening to Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas” definitely puts us in immediate holiday-mode, there is just something so very special about watching a choir or orchestra perform your favorite Christmas tunes live!

Cairo Opera House Christmas Concerts
This year will mark the 20th anniversary of the Cairo Opera House Christmas Concerts. The Cairo Celebration Choir will perform some holiday favorites along with the Cairo Orchestra, and the very talented Nayer Nagui will be conducting. Cairo Celebration Choir
The Cairo Celebration Choir will be performing a selection of popular Christmas songs at College De La Salle this year, with proceeds of the event going towards student tuition and the school’s special education department. For invitations call (02) 25904740.
Gala El Hadidi and David Hales’ Christmas Concert
Award-winning opera singer, Gala El Hadidi, will be accompanied by David Hales on piano for this unmissable concert at The Cairo Opera House. The amazingly talented pair will be performing a variety of songs, including Christmas tunes of course! Book your tickets here.
Hosanna Team Christmas Carols

The Savior Team Christmas Carols
Christian church band, The Savior Team, will be performing at Le Passage Hotel in Heliopolis this year, bringing you some truly authentic Christmas carols. The event will be held outdoors, so make sure you bring something warm! Tickets are available at St. George Church, Heliopolis, where the band will also be performing for free on the 26th!
