If you like grilled food, ma7shi (stuffed vegetables with rice) and everything in between, My Queen is for you. Oh, and they deliver everywhere in Cairo.
Bab El-Hadid – Maadi and New Cairo
Bab El-Hadid is big on liver and sausages, but what you may not know is that its malfoof (cheesy bread) is the bomb.
Lido – Heliopolis
Burgers have never been so affordable. Make sure to buy loads, and by loads, I mean eight or nine of these bad boys.
Yokal – Heliopolis
Nothing is worth ordering from their menu except this beautiful kabout. Yes, just go there and order it. It includes 1 sausage sandwich, 1 liver sandwich, 1 kofta sandwich, 1 packet of fries, 1 sakalans (dessert) and a drink of your choice.
Pronto – Maadi
Every Maadi resident swears by this place. Pronto literally never shuts because it’s 24/7 and its menu doesn’t end. They have everything Egyptian, but we absolutely recommend the pizza. Anything pizza there is the best!
Tom & Basal – Everywhere in Cairo
Because koshari is a way of life. They also have feteer (puff pastry).
Abo Ammar El-Souri – Mohandessin
When you’re too drunk to function and just crave food, Abo Ammar and its shawarma are there to the rescue!
Abo Mazen El-Souri – Nasr City
This is basically Abo Ammar but in Nasr City.
Kazaz – Downtown Cairo
Of course, we didn’t forget about the foul and ta3meya!
