Egypt is a country that doesn’t shy away from bringing over completely new culinary eateries. It’s already reeled in Holland’s brunch spot Bake My Day and Spain’s Brunch & Cake. Now, there’s much more in store.

Here are the newest restaurants that will hit up Cairo:

    Aubaine

Bringing the finest in French and European cuisine is London’s very own eatery, Aubaine, which serves up all the classics, whether it’s their Brie de Meaux cheese or succulent steak frites.

Arriving at Cairo’s Arkan Plaza, the new restaurant is bringing a taste of Parisian streets to Cairenes, especially with its desserts. When we visit, we have a feeling we’ll see all our classic favorites, from mille-feuille to macaroons.

    HuQQabaz Garden

From Turkey to Iraq to the UAE, HuQQabaz Garden, the Anatolian restaurant that has been traveling the world, is now making a major stop in Cairo.

Beyond their delicious Turkish cuisine of juicy Iskender Kebab and rolls of Doner Beyti, you get to dine outdoors within an enchanting garden space where hookahs dominate every table. Knowing how Egyptians love their shisha and Turkish food, we have a feeling this eatery is going to take the top spot.

    Nobu

If you know world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa, the Japanese celebrity chef and restaurateur who expertly fuses traditional Japanese dishes with Peruvian ingredients, then you’ll know his global restaurant Nobu.

Under Nobu Hospitality, the American company founded by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and Meir Teper, the restaurant is now making a highly anticipated appearance at Ras El Hikma in Egypt, further expanding its global presence.

    Khufu Bistro

Bringing all the hype in Egypt’s thriving culinary scene is Khufu’s, the authentic Egyptian restaurant overlooking the majestic pyramids. On that same track is yet another eatery with the same name, Khufu Bistro, which will open its doors at the pyramids.

Behind this new eatery is Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris. The new eatery will be serving up Mediterranean seafood with an Egyptian flair, bringing the country’s authenticity once again to local and international foodies.

All these international flavors are sure to shake up Egypt’s culinary scene even more than before. Tell us, which one are you most excited to try?
