As the DJ starts spinning their tracks and the lights alter into a vibrant display, you think to yourself that’s it, this is going to be one memorable event. That feeling, however, fades once the night ends and you’re back on the hunt for the bigger bolder event on the entertainment scene.
Just this past February, Egypt’s nightlife was shaken once the SAL&G experience launched. Before we get into this whole experience let’s first talk about the dynamic duo behind it.
Hassan Gohar and Seif Abdel Latif are two best friends who like to party, and even co-host events for their friends. With each of the pair an entertainment aficionado in their own right, they felt like coming together to throw one endless party extravaganza. Seeing the gap in the events industry, the duo officially launched, SAL&G Experience, named after them, Seif Abdel Latif & Gohar.
With the slogan, “creating experiences that we want to be a part of,” the co-founders aim to create a full-on experience that starts from the moment the event is put online. From the QR code process to how branding and design are handled, every little aspect is meticulously planned as it caters to the overall experience. All the details aim to create an exclusive concept that isn’t repeated in the event before it.
Naming each event, SPEC, short for serving people exclusive concepts, SAL&G will be doing an eclectic range of events that range from techno to opera with the intention of targeting all genders and ages.
Their first venture or SPEC took place at the Kundalini Pyramids bringing together local and international DJs such as Misty or Anotr, giving people a diverse taste of music at a prime location.
The night saw a big turnout, proving to be a successful experience; only kickstarting things for the duo as they have so much more planned. A new exclusive concept with each event keeping us on our toes. It’s hard to tell what their upcoming event will look like but it will surely be different.
Aside from SAL&G, it’s important to note that Gohar is the founder of Animation Events and Kundalini Grand Pyramids, and Abdel Latif is the founder of Collard Tickets.
