Bahraini fashion label Noon By Noor, founded by cousins Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa of the royal family, made waves at London Fashion Week 2025 with a stunning Fall/Winter collection.
The LFW, which took place from February 20-24, was held at Somerset House. It was simply the perfect setting for a lineup that balanced rough edges with softness and heritage with modernity.
Inspired by Bahrain’s Multi-Storey Car Parks
This season, the designers looked to Bahrain’s ever-changing cityscape, particularly the work of Swiss architect Christian Kerez, who transformed parking structures in Muharraq into cultural spaces.
That fusion of function and artistry shaped the collection—sleek tailoring met fluid draping, resulting in pieces that felt both effortless and meticulously constructed.
A Play on Textures and Tailoring
Noon By Noor’s signature precision tailoring took center stage with sculptural jackets, draped bodices, and sleek silhouettes that showed little skin. Meanwhile, dresses and skirts embraced the movement and cinematic drama.
Instead of embroidery and patterns, the designers focused on fabric manipulation, fraying wool tweeds and layering them to create an airy, textured effect.
A Minimalist Palette with a Bold Twist
The colors chosen for London Fashion Week were timeless and refined, sticking to nudes, greys, and blacks—but when you thought it was all neutral, a bold lime green captures your eye.
A Soundtrack to Match
To enhance the experience, sound designer Uwe Doll created a cinematic soundtrack that captured the collection’s essence. Just like the clothes, the music felt bold yet familiar—designed to linger.
The designers embraced the essence of Bahraini heritage, weaving modesty, elegance, and tradition into contemporary fashion. With every piece that Noon by Noor crafts, in all its impeccable details, there lies the soul of Bahraini women.
