Last night, Movie Queen Raya Abirached, the one TV presenter that even haters love, blessed Cairo with her presence. The host of ‘Arab’s Got Talent‘, presenter of the most exclusive Hollywood celebrity TV show in the Middle East ‘Scoop with Raya‘, brand ambassador for multiple brands, UNHRC activist, and of course mother, she is the perfect example of what a real-life superwoman looks like.

You might have come across Raya Abirached’s #nomakeup posts and campaigns for natural beauty. She inspires her viewers and followers to be confident in who they truly are, whether they have hair and makeup done or not! She featured in MBC’s health show Green Apple for a series of episodes about weight loss struggles, post-pregnancy, determined to show the mothers out there that it is hard for everyone and that it is normal to be so.

Above all, the famous presenter manages to juggle motherhood and a career at its peak, involving constant travels, professionalism, and sharpness around the clock of every time zone. And despite her crazy schedule, she managed to give us a very special message especially for our readers right before leaving Egypt, so watch now!

Last month, we tried to bring inspiring women to the forefront of our outlets to celebrate International Women’s Day and more generally Women’s History Month. As Abirached said though, March is over but never should stop highlighting women’s contributions to politics, the economy, culture, and society.

We Said This: So stay tuned for a lot more on the mamas, the grandmamas, the businesswomen, the heroines and all the above!

Anicée studied a lot of serious sh** to end up spending her life at some of the most frivolous events around the world, from red carpets to festivals. TV producer/director, reporter and occasional writer, Anicee wants to remain a child forever and gets excited about baby goats, Nutella, good movies, the beach, and weirdos. Half Egyptian half French, living in Soho London, on the road most of the year, she would be best described as a nomad with serious commitment issues. @aniceegohar
