Summer season is finally here with countries like Dubai already reaching temperatures as high as 37 degrees. Residents are beating the heat by hitting up pool events or cooling off at any of the city’s beach clubs. The one downside is that several of Dubai’s pool and beaches are on the pricy side with some stacking up to a whopping 800-1500 dirhams. Not all options are expensive though. That is why the Scoop team curated a collection of some of Dubai’s pools and beaches that offer cool packages and deals for full day access.

    Ula

    Via Instagram

Sitting along Palm Jumeirah, surrounded by the glistening waters of the Arabian Gulf is Ula, Dubai’s earthy beachside restaurant and bar. Nestled under the shade of a thatched ceiling, high stools and curved couches abound. Guests get to relax along loungers, basking in the sun or stretch out along one of the cabanas on offer while enjoying the bar’s a la carte menu which includes roasted baby goat and moussaka.

From 9 am to 6 pm, beachgoers can hit Ula for a fun sun-soaked day. On weekdays, the Ula day pass costs 100 dirhams per person and includes a sun lounger as well as 50 dirhams that are redeemable on food and drinks. While on weekends, the pass costs 200 dirhams with 100 dirhams of the price redeemable on food and drink.

    Koko Bay

    Via Instagram

Bringing a taste of Bali to the Emirates, Koko Bay is another of Palm Jumeirah’s beachfront restaurants and bars. Its white and tanned hues meld together with the crystal blue sea and the sparse array of potted green plants. From blue beanbags and weaved hammocks to white laid-out loungers, visitors have plenty of seating options for some much-needed rest and relaxation. Guests can also dine from its menu that mixes Asian and European flavors.

Open everyday from 10 am to 6 pm, guests can gain full day access on weekdays using the 150 dirham pass while on weekends passes cost 200 dirhams per person. Both passes are fully redeemable and instead can be spent on Koko’s eclectic food menu or their special cocktails.

    Jumeirah Islands Clubhouse

    Via Instagram

Standing among the many man made islands that make up the luxurious housing development known as Jumeirah Islands is its 4000 square meter clubhouse. Acting as the beating heart of the entire housing estate, the clubhouse offers a pool, several restaurants, a gym and other amenities all under one roof. The pool alone is home to multiple cabanas and sunbeds for guests to lounge and relax. When it comes to the food, visitors can go for a laid-out spread at Joe’s backyard with British classics like fish and chips or dine Italian style at Isola Ristorante.

Open daily from 8am to 7 pm, the clubhouse offers both weekend and weekday passes. With weekdays, the pool pass costs 50 dirhams while on weekends, entry costs 100 dirhams, fully redeemable on food. On Tuesdays, is ladies only pool day with access to a main dish and two drinks for 150 dirhams.

    Riva Beach Club

    Via Instagram

A family-friendly beach club and pool along the Palm Jumeirah overlooking the Dubai skyline, Riva is a great place for the entire family to take a dip and cool off. Whether it’s in their temperature-controlled pool, kid-friendly swimming area or the 300-meter stretch beach overlooking the pristine waters of the Arabian Gulf, guests get to enjoy a relaxing day from the hustle of Dubai city. Offering a taste of the Mediterranean, their restaurant offers delectable dishes from their seared scallop to their fried whole seabass.

Open everyday from 7am to 7 pm, the beach club offers pool and beach full day passes. On weekdays, they cost 125 dirhams for adults and 65 dirhams for kids aged 5 to 12 years. On weekends, the day pass costs 175 dirhams for adults and 90 dirhams for kids aged 5 to 12 years. Every Wednesday, Riva offers a ladies only day for 75 dirhams with access to both the pool and beach.

    W Dubai – The Palm

    Via Whatson; Via Tripadvisor

Stretched along the Palm Jumeirah is W Dubai, a 349 room luxurious hotel that offers pool and beach access with full day passes to any visitor. Unlike the other pools on the list, W Dubai houses a more unique pool experience with rows of crescent-shaped strips of water lined with weaved egg-shaped cabanas, all overlooking the waters that surround the Palm.

Open everyday from 10 am to 7 pm, guests can enjoy the instragammable pool on weekdays with the 200 dirhams pass while on weekends, the pool pass is for 300 dirhams. All passes are redeemable on food and drink.

Whether its hitting up the pool or beach, the upcoming months coupled with the hot weather make for a great time to make use of these special deals.
