7 Conspiracy Theories Most Arabs Actually Believe

People, especially Arabs, love to get behind conspiracy theories. We’re talking about the crackpot ones that absolutely make no sense. They stand behind them, even when there’s no proof whether it’s actually true or not.

    Via Giphy

How can one confirm or deny the existence of a top-secret plan, unannounced political incident, or the hidden agenda of a political figure? A more important question would be how those people get to this information in the first place? The purpose of this piece is not to argue that all the following theories are wrong or right, it’s basically to get you up to speed whenever you find yourself in this kind of conversation.

    Certain products cause cancer

    Via Hoax Slayer

Every once in a while you receive this chain messages of how products such as Indomie, Dasani, Cadbury can cause cancer or other serious diseases with no proof whatsoever.

Some products have anti-Arab or anti-Muslim agenda

    Via Business Insider

I don’t even know which ones should I begin with, but I’ll try:

-If you boiled the Pokemon cards that used to be in Chipsy bags, you’ll find anti-Islam quotes
-If you look at Coca Cola’s logo in the mirror it will read “La Mohamed La Mecca” (No Mohammed No Mecca.)
-Pepsi is an abbreviation of “Pay Every Penny to Support Israel”

Sharks swimming in Egypt’s coasts were an act of terrorism

    Via Alarabiya

Some claim that a terrorist gang was arrested releasing those sharks in the Red Sea to undermine Egyptian tourism.

    Barrack Obama is Muslim

    Via Shoe Bat

As the Obama administration announced that it was lifting sanctions on Iran as a result of a US-led nuclear deal with Tehran; Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, the head of general security for the emirate of Dubai, suggested that Obama has “Shiite roots.”

    Everything is Photoshopped…or Videoshopped

    Via Al Akhbar

You can never use a picture or a video to support your argument in any way because the one you’re arguing with could just easily claim that it’s Photoshoppped.

Everyone is out to get Arabs

    Via Memri

The Zio-American-Turkish-Iranian-Capitalist conspiracy against the Arab World is one example. Some Arabs just assume that the whole world has one objective; break up the non-existent Arab unity.

US Invaded Iraq and Libya because their Central Banks were not controlled by Rosthchild Family

    Via RT

One of the most popular conspiracy theories out there is that the Rosthchild Family control most of the central banks out there, and they are working on eliminating the exceptions. The theories argue that in the year of 2000 there were seven countries without a Rothschild owned or controlled Central Bank; Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea, and Iran. And after 2011, the only three left are Cuba, North Korea, and Iran. Thus the west influenced all the civil wars and uprisings against the Arab World to solidify the strength of the Rothschild Family that supposedly rules the world.

WE SAID THIS: The list could go on forever. Let us know what other conspiracy theories we missed out.
