Fashion Focus: Why Dubai-Based Blogger Dana Hourani Is Absolutely Slaying It

Social media is saturated with a million and one pieces of inspiration. Between fashion and art, to quotes that make no sense, yet somehow leave you so connected. Yes, we all know the ones I’m talking about. Dana Hourani, a Dubai-based blogger also known as D.Tales holds the perfect balance of all the above, she is kind of like a walking Tumblr account if you ask me, making her that much more appealing.

What I mostly admire about her sense style is the high diversification of taking classic looks and making them her own. She is daring in the way she ventures in to fashion, focusing on a minimalistic approach yet tending to concentrate on the details that really bind outfits together. Hourani always stays consistent in making you want to ‘double tap for more details.’

Due to the nature of my work with retail marketing I come across more accounts than I can count, so I thought I’d filter and share a couple from the region that truly are taking the game in to their own hands. I have picked some of my favorite looks from Hourani’s profile where this leading lady has absolutely slayed,  giving us everything from Instagram goals to fashion must haves we didn’t even know we needed.

Representin’ #SoleDXB#ZoeRay #Life Check out this Hourani on both her Blog as well as Instagram for more but for now I will leave you with a little note from Dana

“I’ve always been more inclined to lean towards the artistic aspects of life, mainly Fashion and Music which are my two greatest passions, and I’m so excited that I can now combine the two and share them with you under the DTales platform.

If I had to put it in words, I would say that what defines my style is sticking to the classics yet always having some sort of abstract edge to the items I choose to wear. Whatever I choose, generally reflects the mood I’m in, reflects how I have been inspired at that moment and how it will ultimately bring out my confidence. That is what inspires me, and that is how I hope to inspire.

Music has always been a constant in my life, no matter what I was going through, and throughout my ups and downs, if all else failed, I would simply pick up my guitar, write, and sing, and would go to another world for a little while. Expressing myself through lyrics and melodies has always been my therapy. Now, I occasionally sing to my Daughter Zoe, and hope she will grow up to have the same passion for music as I do.

I never stop looking for inspiration around me wherever I am in the world, and I hope that Dtales will be a source of inspiration for you as well. I appreciate your time and interest in supporting this endeavor and I hope you will be able to take something with you from my page, whenever you come for a visit.

    Let the Tales begin!
    Dana xoxo”
