Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us, and although some of you may not believe in it because you think the whole thing is annoying (you’re probably right) or that it’s a capitalisy holiday (you’re definitely right), its roots as a romantic holiday actually dates back to some nice guy from a long, long time ago called Geoffrey Chaucer, AKA the author of The Canterbury Tales and the father of English literature. Arguably one of the most Instagrammable restaurants in Cairo, you can find Le Deck at the Sofitel Gezirah hotel. The restaurant will make you feel like you’re on the Nile because you’re literally on it. Their mixed grill should help all your love problems go away.

The newly-opened Asian eatery has already become one of our favorites. Located inside Le Pacha West, this restaurant has the advantage of having Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Indian food all under one roof, so you and your other half don’t have to fight or compromise for each other no more.
