10 Things to Expect When Dating a Virgo

Apart from being surrounded by Virgos, for some weird reason every time I fall for a guy he turns out to be a Virgo. While Virgos can come off as cold, prudish creatures, they are one of the most commonly misunderstood zodiac signs.

No matter how much they annoy you, get on your nerves or you feel you want to kill them, underneath that shell of self-protection, they have the biggest hearts anyone can ever find.

So before you start to lose hope or have difficulty deciphering the code of how to deal with a Virgo, here’s what to expect if you’re about to get a little too close:

    Virgos are meticulous

    btvwe86ptyjq_std640

Being the perfectionist beings they are, Virgos pay attention to every little detail. Whether it’s planning a special occasion or trying to make your day, you’ll be surprised how much effort a Virgo puts into planning and how they focus on the little things.

Keep that in mind when they notice the imperfections in pretty much everything you say or do, it’s just their nature to spot the defects. Try not to take it too personally, they have good intentions — most of the time.

    Virgos are sensitive but charming

    17303-I-m-Sensitive-You-Know

Although they come off as cold, stuck-up human beings, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Once you get through the brick wall they’ve put up, you’ll see how sensitive they truly are, even if they have trouble showing it.

Everything not only matters, but affects them in one way or another. They’re preserved out of protection, but once they’ve opened their heart to you, you’re in for a big surprise and their charming nature will sweep you off your feet, making you forget the entire universe.

    Virgos are great planners

    tumblr_static_bom4bj3dz08wcw4sc48s4ok8g

Being the meticulous people they are, they don’t do so well with on-the-spot and out-of-the-blue things. They don’t like to be taken by surprise, but like to plan everything down to every little detail so that it’s just as perfect as they imagined it to be in their heads. I’d say, think twice before surprising a Virgo or you’ll hear them pointing out red flags before you even hear a thank you.

But look at the bright side, when a Virgo decides to be with someone, it means they’ve put a whole lot of thought into the relationship and planned your entire future. They get invested pretty deeply and they are very picky, too, so you should feel quite special that they picked you!

Virgos are wise beyond their years

    dumbledore-what-is-right-and-what-is-easy

You’d think a Virgo is pretty passive because they’re usually observers rather than action takers. But Virgos choose to take the passenger seat and plan every little detail, weigh out the risks and come up with a solution or comeback that you would’ve never expected.

While most of us are quite impulsive or tend to act before we think, Virgos take their time to see the full picture that most of us tend to miss. Having all that wisdom also makes them the perfect people to go running to with your problems, and being the wise, sensitive creatures they are, they’ll open up their arms and pour their wisdom into you.

    Virgos are discerning

If you look at the people that Virgos choose to have around, you’ll realize they’re mostly exceptional characters. That’s only because Virgos are very good judges of character, so it’s time for that boost of self-confidence, because not only are they very picky and don’t settle for anything less than perfect, they also saw something unique and truly exceptional about you or else they wouldn’t have given you the time of day.

    Virgos are analytical

    3-questions-to-simplify-your-decision-making

Don’t expect a Virgo to take a risk without weighing out more options than you can probably think of. You’ll never know what’s going on inside a Virgo’s head because they always have a million thoughts at once, thus over-analyzing things a little too much, but well, the outcome always pays off in the end.

    Virgos are practical

    elitedaily_Simone_Becchetti_fighting_couple-800x400

It’s not that they don’t compromise, because they do — as long as it doesn’t affect their plan or is still within the traditional borders that they can relate to. Virgos like to go by the book, follow the rules and not invest too much into something that has only a slight percentage of paying off.

So, before you start nagging too much or picking too many fights, remember that Virgos tend to think with their brains rather than their hearts and their patience will eventually run out, if it is for the best.  After all, isn’t that the way to living a care-free, happy life?

    Virgos are filled with devotion

    1360276450before-the-

Once a Virgo has their heart (and mind) set on you, they’ll not only be willing to give you the world, but will also try their absolute best to remove any form of pain or struggles you might be facing. A devoted Virgo will take you under their wing and have a mission of making that beautiful smile of yours last forever.

Virgos are a totally different person with the person they love

Just like anything worth having, you have to work hard to get to the good stuff. So once you’ve proven worthy and given them the support and care they need to break down that brick wall, you’ll see just how much all that effort was really worth it!

And although sometimes it can feel annoying how extremely different a Virgo will treat you in public or when you’re alone, it also makes you feel very special to be getting the special treatment and seeing a side of them that only you get to see. So as long as they’re giving you the undivided attention you need when you’re together, cut them some slack.

Virgos will turn your world upside down

    princecharming-142844

The devotion, care and need they have to make you feel that you’re their one and only will make you feel you’re living a fairy tale. When a Virgo is all in, their heart and mind combine to make you feel you’re playing the lead role in this chapter of their life.

And although their pace might be a little slow because of how meticulous they are, they tend to perfect every little step they take, making you glad you had the patience to wait for them.
