Last night Al Ahly has managed once again to put a smile across their fans’ faces with their Egyptian Premiere League win. Moamen Zakaria, ex- Zamalek player who recently moved to Al Ahly in January, managed to score crucial goals, which led to a 2-0 win for his team.
Needless to say, the real action was on social media rather than the football field. Prior to the match, Facebook was flooded with Zamalkaweya comparing their team’s fan ethics to Al Ahly’s, however at the end of the day, it was the red-shirted fans who had the last laugh.
