As the final day of Eid rolls around, many of us find ourselves in a familiar space. We’re grateful for the celebrations, a little full from all the food, and quietly counting down the hours before life gets back to normal.

It’s the kind of day that calls for something easy, comforting, and entertaining. And what better way to round out the final day of Eid than with a light-hearted movie night?

We’ve put together a collection of movies that fit the moment perfectly. From laugh-out-loud comedies to heartwarming stories, each one offers a dose of good vibes to carry you through going back to work!

    1. X-Large

In X-Large, Ahmed Helmy plays Magdy, a sweet and funny guy who struggles with his weight and self-esteem. While he’s always the helpful friend, he secretly longs for love and acceptance. Things take a turn when his childhood friend returns to town, and he starts pretending to be someone he’s not just to win her heart.

The story unfolds with plenty of humor, but it also dives into Magdy’s emotional journey as he confronts his insecurities and learns to embrace himself. It’s a warm, relatable story that blends comedy with a real message—perfect for the reflective mood of Eid’s final hours.

    2. Hareem Kareem

Kareem, a university professor, finds himself caught between his past and present when he reconnects with three of his old female classmates. What starts as a simple favor to help him get his wife back quickly spirals into a whirlwind of miscommunications, jealous partners, and unresolved emotions.

The film jumps between flashbacks and present-day scenes, reminding us how friendships change—or don’t—over time. Lighthearted and chaotic in all the right ways, Hareem Kareem taps into that familiar Eid feeling of reunions and nostalgia, with just the right amount of comedy to keep things fun.

    3. El Basha Telmeez

If you’re in the mood for fast-paced entertainment, El Basha Telmeez brings just that. When drug-laced stamps start spreading through Safa University, a fresh police graduate, Bassiouny (Karim Abdel Aziz), is sent undercover as a student to expose the network.

Between dodging shady classmates and falling for the rebellious Ingy (Ghada Adel), Bassiouny ends up way over his head.

    4. El Hareefa

Looking for something fresh and high-energy? In El Hareefa, Majed’s (Nour Nabawy) life flips when he moves from a fancy private school to a public one. But things take a turn when his football skills earn him respect—and a spot on the school team.

With a big competition ahead and a prize on the line, this feel-good underdog story is full of heart and hustle.

    5. Zaki Chan

Zaki Chan follows Zaki (Ahmed Helmy), a troublemaker who lands a job as a bodyguard, despite being totally unfit for it, just to prove himself. Tasked with keeping a spoiled rich girl away from the guy she likes, things get hilariously out of hand.

With Ahmed Helmy and Yasmine Abdel Aziz, this comedy is all chaos, charm, and classic mischief.

    6. Tomn Dastet Ashrar

This action-comedy leans a little heavier on the thrills, but maintains a playful tone throughout. Tomn Dastet Ashrar is a fun mix of romance, comedy, and action. It follows Mayo (Mohamed Ragab), a clever con artist whose schemes catch up to him when he gets seriously hurt.

After deciding to turn over a new leaf, his gang plots one last big heist at a hotel, leading to unexpected twists and plenty of laughs along the way.

    7. Zan’et Settat

Ali (Hassan El Raddad) just finished medical school, but his life is anything but simple in Zanqat Sittat. Between his scheming family, a crafty nurse, and a plan to win over four very different women, things quickly get messy.

Add in some unexpected twists with love and family drama, and you’ve got a wild ride full of laughs and surprises.

    8. Eza’et Hob

Rounding out our list, we have Ezaet Hob. In this movie, Hassan (Sherif Salama) is a serious guy struggling with love, while Layla (Menna Shalabi), a determined journalist, faces heartbreak too. Both fake carefree personas to fit in, meeting at a disco.

As they drop the act and show their true selves, love finally clicks, though not without a few twists and misunderstandings along the way.

    A Binge-Worthy Eid Finale

Whether you’re in the mood for a feel-good laugh, a heartfelt reunion, or just something that helps you hold on to the festive spirit a little longer, there’s a film here that fits. Pop some popcorn, gather your people (or just your comfiest blanket), and let your last day of Eid end on a screen-worthy note!
