Get ready to refresh your playlists, because this summer is packed with major music album drops from the biggest names in the Arab world. Whether they’re switching it up or sticking to what they do best, these artists are owning the summer.

    Amr Diab

The legend himself just casually dropped some huge news at his Kuwait concert: his next album is done, 13 tracks deep and dropping right after Eid al-Adha.

It’s bringing back his dream team, including lyricist Tamer Hussein, Aziz Elshafei, and Ayman Bahgat Kamar. No sneak peeks yet, but if history tells us anything, it’s going to dominate the summer charts.

    Assala

Assala is not slowing down. She’s dropping her third full-length album in just two years, and this one’s called Dareebet El-Bu’d (“The Tax of Distance”), a name her fans helped choose.

With 15 new tracks, mostly Egyptian and two in Lebanese, the album features a series of fresh collaborations and bold experiments.

One of the biggest surprises? Her first-ever collab with artist Tamer Ashour on a song titled Kalam Fargh (“Empty Talk”), composed by him. Consider our curiosity fully piqued.

    Wegz

After years of single drops and EPs, Wegz is finally blessing us with a full album. He’s already dominating charts with “El Waad,” and now he’s stepping up with what might be one of the biggest Arab hip-hop releases of the year.

    Nancy Ajram

It’s been four years since Nancy dropped a full album, but she’s back. We only have one track so far, the dreamy “Toul Omri Negma,” released after the passing of composer Mohamed Rahim. The full album lands in June, and honestly, it’s the comeback we needed.

    Amal Maher

Amal Maher told Billboard Arabia she’s finished her new album Haga Ghair (“Something Different”) and it’s dropping any day now. All 11 songs are in the Egyptian dialect, and she’s worked with a dream list of poets and composers, including Ayman Bahgat Kamar and Nader Abd Allah. Consider us in refresh mode.

    Ramy Ayach

Talk about a comeback. Ramy Ayach is returning with his first album in six years, and it’s coming through Mazzika with tracks in both Lebanese and Egyptian. We’re not sure what it’ll sound like, but if it’s anything like his older stuff, it’s about to be a whole vibe.

    Final Track

This summer’s music scene is stacked. Whether you’re in your feels, on a late-night drive, or just looking for new sounds, these drops will have your back. Press play, skip the drama, and let the music albums speak for themselves.

Malak cannot seem to get enough of Literature - so much so that she has pursued it in both her BA and MA, and the love affair is still going strong. Aside from her love for words, humans generally fascinate her. She spends a lot of her time analyzing the minds of people around her and watching criminal minds. She is still fairly new in adulthood, and until now, nothing has made sense in life but chocolate.
