    Ramadan 2025 TV Lineup: The Shows Everyone Will Be Talking About

    Ramadan isn’t just a time of fasting and reflection—it’s also the biggest TV season of the year. After iftar, families gather around their screens for the latest dramas, comedies, and thrillers that define the season’s entertainment. 

    This year’s lineup is packed with gripping stories, heartfelt moments, and plenty of surprises. Whether you love high-stakes drama, fast-paced comedy, or emotional family sagas, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a look at the most anticipated shows that will light up screens this Ramadan.

    Lam Shamsiya

    This Ramadan, Lam Shamsiya delves into the sensitive topic of child harassment through the story of Nelly (Amina Khalil) and her family. Directed by Karim El Shenawy and written by Mariam Naoum, it features a strong ensemble cast, including Yousra El Lozy, Ahmed El Saadany, and Mohamed Shahin.

    Kamel El Adad 3

    The hit comedy-drama Kamel El Adad returns for its third season this Ramadan, with Dina El Sherbiny and Sherif Salama reprising their roles as Laila and Ahmed.

    New cast members include Hussein Fahmy, Injy El Mokaddem, and Mariam El Khosht, while Mimi Gamal returns as the fan-favorite Fawziya. The series, written by Rana Abou El Reesh and Yosr Taher, is directed by Khaled El Halafawy.

    Ashghal Shaqa Gedan

     The comedy series Ashghal Shaqa returns with a second season, Ashghal Shaqa Gedan, this Ramadan. Hisham Maged and Asmaa Galal reprise their roles as forensic doctor Hamdy Abdel Rahim and his wife Yasmine, a TV presenter, as they struggle to raise their twins while dealing with chaotic housekeepers.

    This season takes a darker, comedic turn, introducing black magic, wrongful imprisonment, and more.

    Guest stars include Nahed El Sebai, Nesreen Amin, and Aya Samaha as new domestic workers. The 15-episode series is written by Khaled and Sherine Diab and directed by Khaled Diab.

    Seed El Nas

    In Seed El Nas, Amr Saad stars as a man who gets out of prison, caught between family conflicts and a quest for revenge. Directed and written by the one-and-only Mohamed Sami, the series boasts a star-studded cast, including Elham Shahine, Ahmed Zaher, Ahmed Rizk, and Ingy El Mokadem.

    Esh Esh

    Starring Mai Omar, Esh Esh follows the story of a belly dancer whose life is just full of drama. The series features Hala Sedky, Entessar, and Maged El Masry.

    Also directed by Mohamed Sami, the drama is set in a working-class environment and marks another collaboration between Sami and his wife, Mai Omar, in a leading role after Ne’ma el Avocado and Lo’Lo’.

    Welad Shams

    A 15-episode Shaabi drama, Welad Shams follows Wel’aa and Moftah, two orphans with opposing personalities who form an unbreakable bond.

    Raised in a shelter run by the corrupt Magdy (Mahmoud Hemeida), they rebel and attempt to build a new life—only to face rejection. Starring Taha Desouky and Ahmed Malek, the series explores friendship beyond similarities and sheds light on the struggles of marginalized youth.

    El Ghawy

    In this 15-episode drama, El Ghawy stars Ahmed Mekky as Shams, a man from a humble neighbourhood who, after enduring severe injustice, rises to become a local hero. His journey from hardship to inspiration shapes the heart of the series.

    Directed by Mando El Adl and written by Mahmoud Zahran and Tarek El Kashaf, the show features Aaisha Ben Ahmed, Amr Abdelgelil, Ahmed Badir, and more.

    Ekhwati

    Ekhwati follows four sisters, played by Nelly Karim, Kinda Alloush, Ruby, and Jihan El Shamshergy, who face life’s hardships. The trailer is indeed preparing us for a rollercoaster.

    Directed by Mohamed Shaker Khodeir and written by Mohab Tarek, the drama also stars Ali Qassem and Hatem Salah.

    El Sharnaqa

    In El Sharnaqa, Ahmed Dawood stars as Hazem Ibrahim, a brilliant accountant who uncovers dark secrets about illegal activities within his company.

    As he faces a life-altering choice, he embarks on a mystery-filled journey of survival and self-discovery. Written by Amr Samir Atef and directed by Mahmoud Abdel-Tawab, the series features Maryam El Khosht, Sarah Abi Kanaan, Sabry Fawaz, and more.

    El Atawla 2

    Following the success of El Atawla, the intense rivalry between Nassar, Khidr, and Eissa escalates in season two. Returning stars Ahmed El Sakka, Tarek Lotfy, Bassem Samra, Nesreen Amin, and Zeina are joined by Fifi Abdo, adding new layers to the high-stakes drama.

    El Maddah 5

    The final season of El Maddah returns in Ramadan 2025, with Hamada Helal reprising his role as Sheikh Saber, now transformed into a jinn after his character’s death.

    He faces new supernatural conflicts, including a mysterious jinni played by Ghada Adel. Joining the cast are Khaled El Sawy, Heba Magdy, Yousra El Lozy, and Fathy Abdel Wahab, promising an intense supernatural thriller.

    W Te’abel Habib

    The romantic drama W Taqabal Habib, starring Yasmine Abdel Aziz as Leil El-Husseini and Karim Fahmy as Fares Abou El-Azm. Directed by Mohamed Hamdy El-Kheiry and written by Amr Mahmoud Yassin, the series follows a wealthy woman who discovers her husband’s betrayal, leading her into a new love story filled with emotional turmoil.

    The cast also includes Khaled Selim, Nicole Saba, Anoushka, Salah Abdullah, and Basant Shawky, promising an intense drama.

    Aaisha El Dor

    Donia Samir Ghanem returns with Aaisha El-Dor, a drama about Aaisha, a devoted mother who feels forgotten by those around her. When she enrolls in university in place of her niece, she unexpectedly starts living a double life as a mother and student, proving that new beginnings can happen at any age.

    Directed by Ahmed El-Gendy and written by Ahmed El-Gendy and Karim Youssef, the series features Mohamed Tharwat, Mohamed Kilani, Sama Ibrahim, and Rehab El-Gamal.
