She talked about her experience with her veiled friend in the North Coast trying to get through the beach gate when the security stopped her friend because according to Ghaleb she was wearing the “basic black burkini.”
People on social media didn’t like the way she phrased her words, saying that the only difference between the “basic black burkini” and Hadia Ghaleb’s burkini is the price.
She responded today to her story by explaining that she meant the Black burkini with unsuitable material for swimming. She also restocked the Hadia Ghaleb black burkini from last season on the website saying that it’s one of the best selling on the website and that it was even featured on vogue arabia.
Ghaleb is an Egyptian, Dubai-based entrepreneur and influencer with 2.4 million followers. She’s also the founder and CEO of GPH and Hadia Ghaleb brand who recently made it on the 30 under 30 list.
