    Marshmello, Disco Misr, and Nancy Ajram To Perform at Gamers8 Festival

    Gamers8 esports festival, taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is claimed to be “the biggest esports and gaming event worldwide.” It is brought by the Saudi Esports Federation and Its objective is to break down barriers between nations and between the actual world and the virtual one, as well as to unite players.

    It will feature a list of international musicians ranging from DJs, rappers, and singers from the Arab world, Europe, and the United States. According to Arab News, the festival will be held for eight weeks this summer from July 14 to Sept. 8. On August 11, Lebanon’s Nancy Ajram and EDM artist Marshmello will each perform separate sets, but you can expect a stage collaboration where they’ll be performing the upcoming single “Sah Sah,” which will be released on Friday, July 8. Ajram hinted to her fans last week by sharing an Instagram photo of herself and Marshmello in a recording session.

    The National News reports that Gamers8 had already announced a huge opening night performance on July 14 with pop sensations J-Balvin and the legendary Amr Diab, as well as DJs Sebastian Ingrosso from Swedish House Mafia and Salvatore Ganacci.

    Ahmed Al Bishri, chief operations officer of the Saudi Esports Federation claimed:

    The opening ceremony of Gamers8 will be a spectacular occasion, befitting a city of the imagination and ambition of Riyadh. Additionally, we look forward to revealing even more artists of the quality of the opening night as the summer progresses.

    Lil Pump, Hamaki, Disco Misr, Alan Walker, Russ, DJ Snake, Balqees, R3hab, and the Black Eyed Peas will also perform throughout the festival mixing modern day east and west in the best way possible.

    The Black Eyed Peas and DJ Snake will perform in the area on August 25 after mesmerizing audiences at Expo 2020 Dubai last year and the Saudi F1 Grand Prix in Jeddah in February.

    The festival will run under the theme Your Portal to the Next World and will feature competitions in addition to entertainment and cultural attractions. Moreover, it strengthens the Saudi Arabian gaming scene and helps to spread awareness of Saudi gamers throughout the world. The prize money will be $15 million and the festival’s biggest titles include Fortnite, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, Dota 2, and PUBG.

    Want to get concert tickets? Now that they are available, they can be purchased on the official website. The price for admission to the opening-night concert is 299 Saudi riyals (Dh293), while the price for other tickets is SAR 240.
