Guided by the concept of the Metaverse, virtual reality and digital spaces, Dubai launched a nightlife venue that combines reality with the digital world. ColossalBit launched it on the 30th of December with a bang and DJ music. Here’s what you need to know about ColossialBit and MetaTerrace!
The Dubai-based company for consultancy, advisory and development for cryptocurrency, blockchain and NFTs was behind the mega lounge restaurant. Moreover, the company is famously known for creating the first augmented reality NFT mural titled, “Future NFT Dubai”. ColossalBit launched the restaurant & lounge MetaTerrace in the Central Park Towers in Dubai International Finance Center.
The co-founder and CEO of ColossalBit and MetaTerrace, Ciro Arianna said, “With a view of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai skyline, combined with an option to transact and make bookings in most cryptocurrencies and blue-chip NFTs, MetaTerrace is set to become the center of Dubai’s crypto scene, where enthusiasts and innovators can launch their projects, host meetups, and uphold the community spirit.”

The restaurant is a food and beverage outlet that brings together the digital and physical worlds. Much like the Metaverse, the restaurant provides a digital space. For instance, it has a virtual reality (VR) room. It’s where people can access a fantasy world, communicate and move around using their digital representations. Furthermore, MetaTerrace is for all night-life enthusiasts and people interested in a metaverse experience.
Actually, in the VR room, people can access “alternate worlds, meet like-minded individuals, have drinks, and participate in NFT and cryptocurrency discussions”. To demonstrate, the blockchain community has an opportunity to sneak a peek at the digital future.
