Nothing is more refreshing than changing up your home. Whether you’re restyling your bedroom, kitchen or your whole home, you might need to take a look at what’s currently trending in the interior design world. As time passes, some trends become outdated, while former trends make a comeback. And if you’re looking to renovate your house, then we got you with these guidelines for home renovation. Here are seven interior design trends that made a comeback in 2021!

    Brass

When it comes to hardware, appliances and fixtures, brass is all the craze. Its gold-ish color brings life and warmth to any room or living space. So take note, stainless steel is out of the picture and brass is back.

    Maximalism

As of recently, minimalism has been taking over the internal design world. However, maximalism is back. Maximalism is all about mixing and matching. It’s about adding color and filling out empty spaces with beautiful decorations. Colorful pillows, fun patterns and geometrical paintings are what maximalism is all about.

    Spherical Lighting

Spherical ceiling lamps come in a variety of options, usually made of fabric, metal, wood, plastic or even paper. They’re associated with modernism and are usually added in a space with a focus on geometric elements. You can add just one to bring a room together or add them in groups of twos or threes for a more symmetrical look. It’s one of the best new decor trends.

    Four Poster Beds

These old school beds are back and they will add modernism to any bedroom. Those kinds of beds are all about architecture and decorating the unused space in a bedroom.

    Wallpaper

The word wallpaper is usually associated with the floral patterns that are in your grandma’s home, but wallpaper has come a long way since and is now a staple in a modern home. Modern wallpaper comes in geometric patterns, botanicals and metallics. It adds a pop of color and uniqueness to any space.

    Houseplants

Indoor forests are common nowadays. Aside from taking care of plants being a hobby to many, they also add a level of freshness to the room and light it up. And if taking care of plants is too much of a hassle for you then you could opt for fake plants.

    Shag Rugs

Shag rugs now define the coziness and warmth of your living room. They’re so versatile, fluffy and literally can be placed anywhere; under your bed, desk or in front of a couch. Its versatility has made it a go-to for many people looking to make their house more of a home.
